Cindria's POV

Monday

After Tom showed me around the whole entire castle and received a few too many stares, we went back to the common room to hang out. He took me to the infirmary late that day and the nurse gave me some type of medicine for my bruises, they were gradually disappearing. Sunday was spent outside, where Tom showed me everything from the Oaktree beside the forest to the Astronomy Tower.

To say the least, this was the best thing that ever happened in years.

Today we were starting our classes and I was lucky that Tom and I had the same classes. Tom informed that I would be taking my O.W.L this year since I was supposed to take it last year.

My schedule was:

Monday:

Ancient Ruins

Defense against the Dark Arts

Potions

Tuesday:

Herbology

Divination

History of Magic

Wednesday:

Free Elective --> Muggle Art

Transfiguration

Alchemy

Thursday:

Care of Magical Creatures

Arithmancy

Apparition

Friday:

Free day

For the free elective, Tom had chosen to take nothing at all and rather stayed in the library studying. I told Tom that I've always wanted to take art but never got the chance to so I chose it.

Currently, we were walking to our last subject of the day; potions. Tom was telling me about the potions professor and how he wasn't exactly good or bad but in the middle.

In each class, I sat next to Tom and some students nodded and waved at him, that lead me to think that maybe people respected Tom and feared him at the same time.

I mean everybody wished him good morning and he always nodded back but it seemed that Tom didn't care about what he or she had to say or were.

I might just be overthinking, though.

We headed down towards the dungeon classroom and walked into an empty classroom. That was another thing about Tom; he always came to class 10 minutes early.

Tom nodded at a table in the middle and moved towards it. I set my bag down next to my chair and sat down right next to Tom.

He had already taken out his textbook and began adding his own little notes.

"Tom? What're you doing?" I asked while looking at his textbook.

"Just adding notes for myself," he answered while looking at me directly.

I looked away immediately and nodded my head in understanding.

It's so hard to look him in the eyes when he's looking at me like that.

"No wonder Professor Dumbledore said you were the most brilliant student Hogwarts has ever seen," I said smiling.

Tom flinched when I said the professor's name and that was something else I've learned about Tom.
