Cindria's POV:
Christmas passed in a blur as well as Tom's birthday; I had managed to get him two gifts and was silently pleased when I saw the look of immense happiness on his face.
I gave him a mini silver sculpture of a serpent that I had made in art class. Though it was somewhat hard making it, seeing as though Tom sat close to me and was always watching me. When he asked me what I was making, I hastily told him it was a model of a potato.
Surprisingly, he believed me. I think.
The second gift was a brown-leathered journal that I found and bought from the store when Tom wasn't looking.
Tom had given me chocolates, winter clothing, and books that he thought I would enjoy. Looking at the titles of the books had me cringing.

Nonetheless, I thanked Tom, and then we had both headed off to the Great Hall to eat breakfast.
Currently, it was February, and I had somehow managed to convince Tom in letting us study outside beside a huge oak tree, that rested on a small hill. We had our books scattered in the grass, and once we sat down, Tom had pulled me in between his legs, allowing my back to rest on his chest and my head on his shoulder.
At some point, my eyes had grown tired of scanning the book and I had set it down and allowed myself to close my eyes and rest. I could hear Tom flipping through the pages of his book, and the sound of his pen scribbling down on the parchment paper.
I turned to look at him, studying his facial expression and body language.
"Aren't you tired yet?" I asked, breaking the silence.
"No, are you? Do you want to go back inside?" He answered, looking down to meet my eyes. I pushed myself off of his chest, brushing my black bangs out of my eyes, and stretched.
"No, why don't we take a break and just enjoy the day?" I say while letting my hair out of its ponytail. I shook my head a little, letting my hair sway, and then took off my shoes.
Tom lifted an eyebrow, which I replied to with a huge smile before I threw my arms out and began spinning. The world slowly became unbalanced and I lost my footing, I could feel myself falling and then rolling down the hill.
The feeling of exhilaration pumped my body and I could feel myself uncontrollably giggle when I had come to a stop. I looked up at the sky before it was blocked from my view because Tom had leaned over me, concern etched on his face.
"Are you okay?" He asked, helping me to a sitting position. My world was still spinning and I leaned against Tom's chest, laughing.
"That was great! I'm more than okay! I want to do that again!" I laughed out, slowly standing up.
"Is it possible that you might have hit your head on a rock when you fell down the hill?" Tom asked, his face twisted in deep worry.
"I'm fine, Tom, honest! Come on! You should try it!" I said while gripping his arm and pulling him up the hill. He allowed me to drag him up the hill and then laid down beside me.
"You first!" I said, looking over at him.
"Why?" He asked, quirking his eyebrows.
"Because if I went first you'd probably not follow," I answered while sitting up quickly and pushing him. He rolled down the hill like a log and ended at the end of the hill face first. I let out a small laugh before rolling down the hill and ended right beside him.
