Chapter 4

8:30Am Veronica's POV;

I wake up to the sound of someone behind my door, I hear soft knocks and I set myself sitting up confused.
"Who is it?" I Ask as the confusion sends through my light voice.
"Honey? It's me, the doors locked" my mother replies back.

I must have accidentally
locked my door to my room before I went to sleep.

"Sorry Mum, I accidentally locked my door" I say as I unlock it after jumping out of my bed.
"We should get that lock removed" she scoffs and looks into my room.
I look at her reaction
and she's shocked at how clean it is.

"Yes?" I ask.
"Nothing"

She then leaves my door and I walk over to my bed. I woke up for nothing.

I reach out to my phone, and grab it as it's suddenly blowing up as everyone
sends their Snapchat streaks.

DamnAl; hey beautiful, stay please

DamnAl; come on, I know you're reading these

DamnAl; oi, love

DamnAl; alright. I'll be awake anyway,Always am anyway.

OhMyGodRonny; Hey

OhMyGodRonny; I actually never caught your name and your info doesn't say anything about it..

I then put my phone down and start my day.

I walk on over to my cupboard and pick out one of my red oversized hoodies
and some black leggings along with my white adidas Slides.

I go over to my mirror and brush my hair along with adding no much makeup as usual.
Mascara applied and some chapstick.

I check my phone and I see no reply still to my last message, I'm honestly not too sure if I should trust this guy or man..
I decide to message again,

OhMyGodRonny; how old are you?

DamnAl; I'm 19

He replied quite fast to that, I don't understand what his trying to play here.

OhMyGodRonny; what's your name?

10 minutes pass;

Nothing, I guess his just insecure about it still, I don't get it.
I check a few of the other messages I had received but none interested me.

OhMyGodRonny; are you okay?

DamnAl; just busy, Love

DamnAl; My name is Max

I Stare at the name not knowing whether to believe it or not.
