A Different Arrangement(ADA)

Adrian Maximo is the name that brings shock,good shock actually and shivers to every young woman and even the older folks both men and women.

He is the hot billionaire and CEO of MAXIMO INDUSTRY.

It was midday,Adrian was sitting on one of his office chairs which cost a fortune just looking around with a face that held no emotion when his phone started ringing.

He picked it up and the caller Id showed mom.

"Hello mom"he said cheerfully into the phone

"Hello darling,how is my handsome son doing?"she inquired

"I'm fine mother,to what do I owe this call"he asked.

"I have something important to discuss with you,hope you're not too busy"she asked

"Come on mom,I can never be too busy for you".

"Awwwn so sweet,thanks darling.come over then".

"See you in less than an hour,bye mom"

"Alright,bye"

"I love you mom"

"I love you more"

He cut the call and dialled carlos,his driver's number and pressed a button under his table to alert his bodyguards he was leaving the office.

He nodded at his Secretary and left.

Forty five minutes later,Adrian was standing in front of The Maximo Mansion. A three storey building with twenty one rooms,5 sitting rooms and the ground floor is the gym.

The grasses were green to the core,there was a garden with so many colours and types of flowers.
His favourite flower ever since he was little is the hibiscus,the colour,beauty and shape of it never ceases to amaze him.

The walls of the mansion are strong and surprisingly not so high the gates are just perfect.

The colour of the mansion is pure white.

Adrain smiled as he took in the beauty of the house and surrounding where he grew up.

Suddenly,the door opened and he jolted out of his wondering state and came face to face with his mother. Before he could process anything he was pulled into a tight,bone cracking hug.

"Mom,you're literally crushing my bones"he fakely cried out.

"Forgive me,but I've missed you so much"she replied.

"Yea,business here and there"he said.

"Come on in my darling".

They stepped into the house and barely sitting Adrian said "So what's the important discussion about.

"One thing at a time,first your favourite meal has been prepared by me"

"Are you by any chance bribing me before hand mother"he said laughing.

"Well,you never can tell"

A maid came in to tell them the table was set for lunch.

"Thank you mirabel you are dismissed"Adrian said.

They moved to the table to eat.

30 minutes later :

Haven eaten and rested a little bit,Aracely Maximo(Adrian's mom) pats the seat next to her and asks him to come close.He sits and says "So mom what are we talking about"
"I know this may sound crazy but it means a lot to me and would really make me happy if you do it"she began speaking

"Come on mom don't scare me"

"I want you to get married in less than two weeks,I have found a wife for you"she said rather too fast.

But she wasn't sure if he heard her and was about repeating herself when she got a shocking reaction that made her gasp.

Adrian spat out the drink in his mouth, dropped the glass he was holding.jumped from his seat and screamed

"Wwwwwwhhhhhhhaaaaaatttttt!!!!!!!,

YOU ARE JOKING RIGHT MOM"he spat out and continued
"We are in June not April so is there a new stuff called June fool?"he asked shock still written all over his face.

"Am serious please do it for me"Aracely begged.

"No way mom who is the girl in the first place. I don't even have a clue as to who she is,dont tell me she is a poor girl who needs money to save a family member or did you blackmail he?"he asked.

"Don't talk to your mother like that young man,do you think this is a fairytale?"A voice cautioned loudly.

He turned around and screamed "NANA!!!I've missed you so much,you look younger than ever"referring to his Nanny.

""Looks like you are now accustomed to shouting and screaming this days that's unlike you my boy.I've missed you too dear"Michelle,his Nanny replied.

"Well I didn't mean to scream at you mom it's just crazy that you are asking me to get married"

"Please do it for me" she pleaded.

After much pleas from his mom and nana Adrian agreed.

"Come on mom don't kneel for me I'll do it to make you happy alright?"

"Thank you baby"

"So when do i get to meet her"

"Tomorrow"his father said coming into the sitting room.
"Hey dad,even you??"

"Hey son,just trust us on this one"

"As always dad"he said and looked at his wristwatch.

"I have to start going I'll talk to you all later"he said standing up and kissing Aracely and Mitchell on the cheeks and gave his father a hug.

He walked out and turned to wave at them as he entered his car.

"Where are we off to?"Carlos his personal bodyguard and driver asked.

"Home please"he replied.
