May couldn't move much, so he just shook his head and leaned back as much as he could.
"Oh, c'mon, Matthew! What could it hurt?" Natemare giggled.
Get out, Mat thought.
"Ugh, Nate used to say that all the time. It didn't work, obviously."
Someone will notice I'm gone, Mat thought furiously.
"Well, I'm sure someone will. It's most likely to be Steph, if I'm not mistaken." Natemare turned on his heels. "Now, I just have to-" he started to the door.
NO! Mat screamed in his head. If he thiught it loud enough, maybe Natemare would hear him.
"What?" Natemare asked, turning to face Mat.
Please, don't hurt Steph, Mat thought. She didn't do anything. She doesn't deserve to suffer this.
Natemare rolled his eyes. "I wasn't gonna hurt her outright. Now, if she got in my way..." he giggled. "That's a different story..."

I'm writing this on the bus, so I'm so sorry for any typos. I hate writing on my phone, if I'm being honest.
Kay, bye!
