‘How should I wear my hair?’ I asked as we were getting ready for the One Direction concert. ‘I think you should leave it down, it looks so nice today!’ Adriana replied as she applied some blusher to her cheeks.
‘Here are the t-shirts!’ said Rhiannon, approaching with custom made t-shirts with the boys’ faces on them.
‘Wow, they look incredible!’ I said as I rushed over to try it on. ‘We look like the ultimate fangirls!’ Adriana added.
We do. And tonight is going to be a hell of a ride.
The lights dimmed in the arena as the first chords of ‘What Makes You Beautiful’ started in the background. The crowd went crazy, girls were screaming, fainting and crying. Suddenly, five figures appeared on stage. Rhiannon, Adriana and I almost fell over. It was One Direction in the flesh! I stared straight at them. Liam started the song, winking at some girls in the audience, sending them screaming. ‘You’re insecure, don’t know what for, you’re turning heads when you walk through the do-o-or....” I looked at these five gorgeous boys. They were making eye contact with the audience. Niall was flawless, Harry was gorgeous, Zayn was picture perfect, Liam was adorable but there was something about Louis that I couldn’t put my finger on. I stared deep into his eyes and I could swear for a split second our eyes locked. I was pulled into a different world, my spirits were lifted even higher.
Yes, I thought, Something big is going to happen tonight...
