Chapter 4

Hoseok sighted sadly and started scrolling through his chats. He didn't talk with Jin for awhile. He said he would talk two days ago with them about the project but he disappeared out of nowhere. He didn't even come to school. He could hear his classmates sometimes wondering why Jin was missing. He really missed Jin. He wished he could talk with him but he was scared. What if Jin was feeling sick? What if something happened to him? What if?...

"Mister? Are you awake?" he heard his teacher ask.

He straightened up his position and showed the most cheerful and stupid smile he could. He didn't want to get in problems for using his phone in class.

"Yeah! Sorry, kind of tired!"

"It's ok, Hoseok."

He sighed relieved and continued his search for Jin's chat. He didn't really talk only with him as much. He most of the time talked with him only in his and Tae's group and his, Jimin's and Jungkook's chat about dancing ( and even though Jin didn't know how to dance at all he still liked to see them dance and do choreographies).

Hoseok: Hey, Jin! <3 Do you need me to give you your homework? 9:43 am

Hoseok slightly jumped when he saw that Jin has seen the message. He could feel his hands a bit shaky.

Jin: Yes. Thank you. 9:44 am

Hoseok: Anything for you! :) 9:44 am

Jin: ...Anything? 9:45 am

Hoseok: Yeah! 9:45 am

Jin: Can you come to my house after classes end? 9:46 am

Hoseok bit his lower lip and could feel himself shaking more. Why did Jin want him to come to his house? What was he planning? He felt so bad for thinking romantic stuff when things could be more serious. He had to be calm. He couldn't freak out for being alone with Jin.

Hoseok: Sure! See you! <3 9:50 am

Jin: Thanks. 9:52 am

Hoseok put the phone in his pocket and sighted. It was going to be a long school day, wasn't it?

"Bye, Hoseok! Let's chat when I get home, ok?"

"Can't Jimin. I am going to Jin's house and-" but before Hoseok could end his phrase, Jimin jumped on him and hugged him

"Oh my god! I can't belive it Hobi! You and Jin are-"

"No. He just needs me for something."

"Sureeeee...Well, then I suppose I can go to that date with Jungkook earlier. He anyway canceled the plans with Lisa. She had to help Jennie out with homework."

"Ah. Well, tell Jungkook to say hi to Lisa for me when they will meet."

"Sure! Bye, Hobi!"

They parted their ways and Hoseok started walking towards Jin house. Jimin and Jungkook started dating when they were both freshmen. They were already friends since 5th grade so they knew each other very well.

Hoseok knocked at Jin's house door. He could hear footsteps getting closer to the door as the door yanked open fast enough for Hoseok to jump back a little.

"Woah..."

Jin was sobbing and he looked like an entire mess. Hoseok gave him a tight hug and caressed his hair softly trying to calm him down a little. He could hear his heart beating and him breathing very weirdly. He wished he could make him happier. But it was clear as water that Jin was devasted.

"What..Happened?"

"Chimko..."

"Chimko? The kitten?"

Jin took out a napkin out of his pocket and rubbed it on his cheeks trying to get the tears away from his eyes. His eyes were really red and he was shaky. He was so stressed out and nervous that Hoseok could think that he was just at a funeral.

"Yes. She is in hospital. The doctor says it might take her very much to recover. And...I am just...I think she might die! I don't want to think like that but..but..."

Hoseok helped him get back inside the house and sat with him on the couch. He caressed Jin's head softly and put Jin's head on his shoulder.

"It will be fine, Jin. Believe me."

"What if it won't be fine? What...if..."

"Whatever happens I am by your side. I am your friend after all."

"Yeah...You are."

Jin hugged Hoseok tightly and rubbed his head on his chest. Hoseok could feel his heart beating faster from Jin's sudden action. But he really enjoyed feeling Jin's warmth on his body. It felt really nice and comfortable.

"Thanks. Can you please stay with me more? I will make some hot chocolate."

"Sounds nice, Jin."

Jin smiled softly and walked to the kitchen, leaving Hoseok blushing and thinking about how he got to cuddle in such a way with Jin for the first time. Hoseok ended up messaging Yoongi telling him about everything that happened and why Jin was missing before Jin would come back with the hot chocolate.
