AN-So this is the first chapter. There is a chance of tears. I cried while writing it.
Enjoy.

Nick Wilde sat in the hospital waiting room waiting for information on his police partner/Best Friend/Wife. The fox cried out all his tears at the scene of the accident, and so there was nothing for him to cry out now. He could only cry tears of pain and guilt in dry tears.
The fox was met in the room by two bunnies. Nick knew who they were. Him being married to their daughter made them his in-laws.
"How you doing there?" Stu Hopps asked in a worried tone.
"How good can I be doing, Sir?" Nick answered with a voice that told the bunny all he needed to know.
"I'm sure she'll be fine dear. This is t the first time something like this has happened. You know how strong our Judy is," Bonnie said trying to comfort the fox.
"That's not the point Mrs. Hopps. It was my fault that this happened."
"We all make mistakes, Nick. I know what you did you probably feel guilty for but Judy won't see it like that."
Nick became silent. There was truth in what the bunny had just said. Judy would forgive him in a heartbeat. She was amazing like that. The problem he would have was forgiving himself.
==========
**Flashback**
Nick and Judy had just gotten off work. As always they told Clawhouser Goodbye and went toward their car. Nick was tired and aggravated. He and Judy had been working on a case for three weeks and still had no lead.
Judy, being herself, wanted to make sure her fox was happy. She tried to talk to him but Nick was zoned out. Never before had he been so wrapped up in a case.
The fox was so zoned out and tired that he didn't notice he had swerved into the wrong lane. Nick even thought he was still driving correctly.
   "Nick?" Judy said.
The fox tried to ignore it. He didn't want to say something that would alarm her.
   But the bunny kept pushing,"Nick?!?"
This snapped the fox out of his trance and it was then that he noticed the pickup coming at the car.
Nick tried to swerve into the next lane and succeeded. However, the hydroplaning of the wet roads is what caused the car the run off the road and start flipping.
Nick tried to grab for something. The wheel, the seat, Judy. Anything. The fox finally got ahold of an object and grabbed it.
It wasn't till then he noticed it was the door.
The door ended up opening, causing the fox to fly out into the ditch full of grass.
Nick has little pain, but sat straight up when he saw that the car had stopped flipping. He only had one thing in mind and hay was his wife.
   "JUDY!" The fox yelled.
He ran for the car as fast as he could. He legs taking him to the destination slower than what he wanted. Even though they were as fast as he could get them.
Nick was able to enter the car due to the fact that the door had broke off when he opened it.
It was there he saw a sight he would never forget. His bunny was was still in the passenger seat. Held tight by the seatbelt that bound her into the car.
   "Judy?!"
There was no response from the bunny. Nick got ahold of her and pulled her out of the ruble that was once their car.
Nick held her in his arms crying when he succeeded in getting her out of the car
The fox heard sirens and thanked he good lord that there would be help for his bunny.
Nick couldn't stop crying. He held her tight and dig his face into her chest,"Carrots, my love, please tell me your ok. Baby please," the fox begged but it didn't work.
The ambulance came and took Judy away from his. Also bringing Nick to another ambulance.
"Please tell me she'll be ok?" Nick said to the doctor that brought him to the red and white van.
"Sir i promise we'll do all we can. What's her name?"
"J-Judy Wilde," Nick said through that tears that failed to stay hidden.
   "And your name?"
"Nick Wilde. She's my wife sir."
==========
That's all Nick could remember from the moment of the terrible accident. To be honest he didn't want to remember that much. He just prayed that this would all be a bad dream.
Bonnie and Stu still sat with Nick. All three were praying for a miracle.
Nick even noticed a lot of their colleges from the ZPD sitting with them. They too were hoping for a recovery for one of their vast officers.
"Wilde?" A nurse called from the desk, causing Nick to stand and walk toward the female Jaguar.
"That's me, ma'am," Nick said quickly.
"And we are her parents,0 Stu said as he and Bonnie also walked to the nurse.
"Yes, well I wish I had better news for you, but, Mrs. Wilde is in bad condition. We were able to stabilize her for the time being but there is a high chance that she won't pull through. Sir, I promise you we are doing everything in our power to save your wife. If you would like to see her-"
"Yes I do," Nick cut her off.
"Alright then. Please follow me," the jaguar said leading Nick to the ICU section of the hospital.
Finally they made it to the door that would lead them to Judy.
   "She's right behind this door."
"Thank you," Nick said opening the door to reveal Judy laying on a hospital bed. She had IVs in and many other wires that Nick could not name.
The fox found a chair by the bed and sat down, trying his hardest not to cry. He had to be strong for his bunny but seeing her like this was making it hard.
   "Hey, Carrots," Nick choked.
The bunny was unresponsive. The only movement Nick saw was that slow rise and fall of her chest.
Lord knows how long she would be in this coma. Or if she would wake up at all.
Nick shook the thought out of his head. He couldn't even think about where he would be without her.
Nick grabbed her paw tightly and put his head down.
Nick knew he would fall asleep soon. After all that had happened he had no energy left. So he let out focus more words before the sleep would take him away.
   "I love you, Judy."
Tears fell out of his eyes as they closed.

AN-Oh dang. Ok. So what did y'all think of the first chapter? Chapter two will be up ASAP. I'm still trying to work on my other story a little bit. Also I had a question for y'all.
Should Nick and Judy have kids in this story?
Y'all give me your answers quick. I won't post again till I get an answer.
