Pain was all i felt as they did multiple things to try and get my voice back. None of them worked and i just lied there and tried to not let them know the anesthetic wore off. eventually they stopped and i "woke" up. my neck and chest hurt they handed me a mirror and i saw a huge jagged scar running from the bottom of my chin to my heart. so being me i covered it and everyone gasped. "what its the way i was born." i stated sarcastically. and lilly rolled her eyes while everyone else was oblivious. they were all staring at my wide eyed , and then i realized why... because i can't talk. and i didn't say it out loud. lilly was completely oblivious for a sercond then her eyes went wide.. she then realized the same as me
