Dinner Time

Chelsi POV

After setting everything up for this dinner. Everyone went to go get ready. I decided to wear a white pleated skirt with a flannel blue and white tied up shirt. I put my hair in two buns. After I was finished doing my makeup it was 4:30.

I tried to clean up around the place a little more to waste time. I heard the doorbell ring and walked downstairs to the door. It was my aunt Tracy and cousins. Madison was 7 and Tyler was 10 and the oldest Tiara was 19.

"Hay guys I missed y'all so much." I hugged all of them and let them in.

"Hi baby girl Happy Thanksgiving." My aunt Tracy said handing me two foil pans and kissing me on the cheek.

"Well the dining room is all the way to the back on the left." I said and Tiara took one of the pans from my arms and we took it to the kitchen.

"Hello to you to bitch." I said smiling at Tiara.

"Bitch shutup I don't even fuck with you, wasn't even gonna call a bitch and put her on about you dating Pnb Rock."
She said rolling her eyes. Tiara was a brown skin girl, with a tall slim figure.

"I'm sorry a lot has been going on but where's my baby and your man."

"Girl they at his family house me and him not together right now, he has to get his shit together." She said sighing

"Awwww, I get it though I don't know why it's so hard for niggas to get they shit together."

"Exactly bitch but let me go call him and check on my baby." She walked out somewhere to call him.

I looked in the pans to see what they brought. It was banana pudding and in the other pan it was collard greens. "Yumm." I said to myself. I walked towards the living room I heard laughing and talking in there. I see my aunt Tracy, my little cousins, the girls and my brother sitting all in the living room talking. I walk over to the bean bag next to Vicky and sit on it.

"So Chelsi I see you got yourself a boyfriend." My aunt Tracy said

"Yeah I do Aunty, he's actually coming to meet y'all."

"Yeah he cool Aunty and if he break my little sister heart I'm breaking his face." Chance says

"Okay just to let you know I will be questioning him." Aunty Tracy said with a smile.

After that we changed the conversation and started talking about graduation and prom. At 5:30 people started showing up and by 7 we had a full house. Rakim still wasn't here so I decided to call him.

"Yo."

"Where you at Rakim? It's now 7:15 and your nowhere to be found."

"I had to shit to handle I'm on my way with Meen right now."

"Whatever." I just hung up because whatever he was handling wasn't even that important and he sounds smacked as fuck. Him and Meen are going to get it when they get here, like how you show up high to a thanksgiving dinner knowing my family going to be here.

I walk around and start to mingle with all our friends and family. People kept asking me where my "boyfriend" was and I just had to tell them he was handling something he's on his way. I go outside in the backyard to see the little kids playing I couldn't help record them. They remind me that being young is so precious nothing to worry about. Everything is way easier when your a kid you don't understand everything and it was okay not to.
