*Selena’s POV*

I was now laying on a hospital bed. I looked around at the plain white walls as Justin held on to my hand. Both of us praying that our baby was ok.

When the paramedics had gotten to the house it was just a bunch of chaos and everything was a blur. They were mostly worried because she had been attached to the umbilical cord for too long.

I felt perfectly fine though. I had given birth without pain medication before so this was nothing new for me, I had been able to deal with the pain.

The nurse came in with a clipboard and we needed to sign the papers, finalizing what her name would be. Justin lied down next to me and held a pen and the clipboard in his hands.

“Ok so we know what we want to name her, right?” Justin asked.

“I don’t want to name her Elizabeth.” I admitted. I had been thinking about it for awhile and I just didn’t want to name her that. Mine and Scarlett’s names both started with an S and I wanted hers to start with an S.

“But that’s the name you and Scarlett had agreed on.” He chuckled. “Why don’t you want to name her that?”

“Scarlett and I both have an S name and I want her to also.” I replied.

“Ok, have you thought of an S names? There are really not a whole lot to choose from.”

“I was thinking Savannah or Samantha. Do you like any of those? I kinda think she looks like a Savannah.” I smiled at the thought of being able to hold her in my arms and admire her beauty once again.

“I like Savannah.”

“Really, you do? Ok yay, so Savannah it is!” I exclaimed.

“And the middle name? I honestly don’t think Elizabeth goes and that’s like a mouthful to say.” He laughed. “It’s so long.”

“Ok then how about Savannah Rose?” I asked.

“Ok I like it. Savannah Rose Bieber.” He smiled.

“Gomez.” I added.

“Ok Savannah Rose Bieber Gomez.” He rolled his eyes. “Now that’s a mouthful.”

“Hey! Mason and Scarlett have Gomez at the end also! And be happy your name goes first.”

“I am ecstatic!” He joked.

Just then we saw a nurse wheel in our baby girl. I smiled and sat up a little more on the bed as the nurse picked Savannah up and carefully put her in my arms.

“Hi baby girl.” I whispered.

“Now she’s perfectly healthy. She’s seven pounds and three ounces and is twenty inches long. Congratulations.” She smiled. “I’ll leave you guys alone now.”

“Thank you.” I replied and Justin handed her the clipboard as he also said thank you.

“Oh my goodness, Justin!” I smiled so big as we both stared at her in awe. She had Pattie’s blue eyes and my dark hair and she couldn’t have been more perfect.

“She looks like you. Not surprised though, they always look like you.” He groaned.

“Hey! That’s not a bad thing. And she has your mom’s eyes. She’ll be so happy to see that.” I smiled as Savannah started to fuss a little.

“I think she’s hungry.” Justin chuckled.

“Yup, and I think I completely forgot how to do this.” I handed the crying baby to Justin as I tried to get comfortable to feed her. Justin handed her back to me and she instantly calmed down once I started feeding her.

Justin brushed her hair gently with his hands and I can just tell how in love he was with her. He couldn’t get his eyes off of her.

“I’m so glad she’s ok.” Justin let out a sigh of relief.

“I knew she would be.” I smiled.

“She’s perfect.”

“I can’t believe she’s here with us. I can’t believe I just had another kid!” I laughed softly.

“She brought us together again.” I looked up at Justin and he went in for the kiss. It was quick yet passionate. “I wouldn’t have it any other way.”

*Justin’s POV*

Selena had gone to sleep now. She was tired and needed sleep after a long eventful day. So like I always did after one of our kids was born. I sat on the couch in the corner of the room to talk to my baby girl.

“Hey there Savannah.” I whispered. “I thought we were gonna call you something else but obviously your mommy changed her mind.”

I watched as she smiled. I knew it was just her passing gas but I still loved seeing my baby smile for the first time.

“I have a lot of crazy stories to tell you.” I laughed softly. “Starting with the way you were born. You’re an impatient little girl, you know that? You almost gave daddy a heart attack today!”

I watched as she spit up a little and I cleaned it up with the blanket that was wrapped securely around her small body. She was falling in and out of sleep so I started to sing to her.

“Mommy wrote this song so don’t tell her I’m singing it to you or she’ll kill me. Shh. This can be our little secret.” I grabbed her little hand that was already balled into a fist and gently hit mine against it, fist pumping.

She wrapped her hand around my finger and I started to sing to her. “Your little hand’s wrapped around my finger and it’s so quiet in the world tonight. Your little eyelids flutter ‘cause you’re dreaming so I tuck you in, turn on your favorite night light.”

I finished the song just as a nurse walked in to check on things. “Excuse me nurse, I was wondering if you can maybe take a picture?”

“Of course,” she smiled politely and I handed her my phone so she can take a picture.

“Thank you.” I said as she handed me back my phone and I saw the picture. I couldn’t have been more happier to have my baby in my arms.

‘Happy birthday Savannah Rose Gomez... Bieber. :)’ I smiled and posted the picture on twitter. I was so excited to show her off to everybody.
