"Ma, I am always trying my best in Mathematics but i always fail in the weekly tests.I am frequently doing my revision till late at night but i dont see any improvement. My marks are always decreasing.8 year old,Anna lincoln was so angry. She couldn't accept the fact that she was failing in Mathematics which is one of her favourite subject.
"I have tried to look for tutors to assist you.But the cost is just burning a hole in my pocket.I dont have a proper job.I can assist you but i'm not around most of the time."Anna's mother,Clare lincoln was stressed.
Anna's parents were divorced six years ago,but Clare couldn't cope with it.It was hard to be a single mother. She didn't have enough money to pay for Anna's tutor so her uncle helps her family financially but Clare didn't want to burden him.
"I understand what you're trying to tell me ma ,but i feel scared. What if he had other students? You do know i have a problem with that.I don't want it to happen again".
Anna had been betrayed and used by her peers for their own benefit. She became an introvert and started isolating herself.Being alone made her feel better and appreciate herself even more. She feared that if her tutor had other students to assist, she would be taken for granted by them.
"I realise that too,Anna dear.I need to find a tutor who could understand an introverted child like you. Now,leave that aside and enjoy the story books i bought for you".
"Thanks,Ma.You're the best."Anna hugged Clare tightly. Her mother was always there by her side during her ups and downs.Although she knew her father cared for her,he wasn't as supportive as her mother. She went up to her room as usual and read the story books on her bed.At the same time,Anna hoped that she would get a great Mathematics tutor.
