Chapter 7

It had been eight years since Clare and Anna left for California.Angelina managed to cope up with school and made new friends.But she would never forget Anna.She held the charm bracelet closely to herself,believing Anna would be back.

Angelina went to school as usual.She walked towards her locker and checked her schedule.

"First subject...Mathematics!"

Angelina loved Maths so much.She put her Maths books into her bag and walked to her class.There were no one except for the nerds who sat at the first two rows.She chose a seat in the forth row and read a book while waiting for the Maths teacher,Mrs.Lee to come into the class.After 15 minutes the class was full except for a seat on Angelina's left and a seat on Austin's right.Mrs.Lee came into the classroom and started writing formulaes on the whiteboard.No one liked that old,grumpy lady.

"Do you remember what I taught you last week?"

There was ultimate silence.No one remembered but Angelina remembered.She raised her hand to tell the answer but was stopped by Mrs.Lee.

"I know you knew the answer.I just wanted to see if the others were attentive.Hmm...Austin!What is the solution for (x+y)(x+y)?"She pointed towards Austin who was doodling on his sketchpad to answer the solution which she wrote on the whiteboard.Austin was puzzled.Before Mrs.Lee could chide him,Angelina heard a voice.

"It's x2 + 2xy + y2".

Everyone looked at the door,even Angelina,Austin and Mrs.Lee did so.A girl was standing there.She looked slim and slender,her jet black hair tied into a ponytail and she wore glasses.She looked absolutely gorgeous.Angelina felt as if she had met this girl once but she couldn't remember.

"Are you the new student?"Mrs.Lee asked the girl.

"Yes,ma'am".

"Why don't you introduce yourself to everyone?"

"Okay.Hi,I'm Anna and I just moved here from California".

"Thank you,Anna.Take a seat beside Angelina".

Anna?That name seemed familiar.Anna sat beside her.Mrs.Lee started teaching.Angelina was listening attentively.When she looked down,she saw a piece of folded paper on the left side of her desk.She opened it and saw the sentence,"Are you Angelina Jason?".How does she know my full name?She wrote 'Yes',who are you?and put it on Anna's table.After one minute,she saw the paper on the desk.She opened it and saw the reply,
"Don't you remember me?I'm Anna Lincoln".

Anna Lincoln?Her closest friend since the age of 8?Angelina turned to have a look at Anna again.This time she saw an owl necklace on Anna's neck!It's Anna the girl that i loved as my unbiological sister,wearing the owl necklace that i gave as a rememberence.Both of them were smilling each other as they had believed.That is where they got to know that they have been reunited.
