Angelina was at Anna's home reading some books.She and Anna would read and tell each other about the book they have read.Suddenly,Anna heard the sound of mumbling Clare's bedroom (right beside Anna's bedroom)
"Hey,Elina.Do you hear that sound?
I think it's coming from my Ma's bedroom".
"I heard that sound too?Are you going to check it out,Ann?"
"Sure.Follow me".
They tiptoed out of Anna's bedroom towards Clare's bedroom.The door of Clare's bedroom was slightly open.Angelina and Anna peeped through the door carefully and saw Clare and Hugo in the room.
"What is Uncle Hugo and Ma doing here?"
"I don't know,we have to see for ourselves,Ann".
Clare started talking to Hugo,"I got to work in a law firm".
"That's great,Clare.But why do you look miserable?"Hugo replied
There was a pause.Then,"I am going to work in California".
"Wait.The United States?That's amazing,Clare".
"Amazing?Seperating Angelina and Anna is amazing?Not seeing our families anymore is amazing?"Clare's voice tone had a mixture of sadness and anger.
"That was not what i meant.Working in California brings a fortune for you.Anna would have a brighter future.Think about it".
"Ma,are you leaving to California?"
Anna said and she and Angelina walked into Clare's bedroom with tears rolling down their cheeks.
Clare and Hugo looked terribly shocked.They didn't expect the girls to listen to their conversation.
"Angelina,Anna,we didn't expect you to eavesdrop".Hugo said
"But we would be seperated if Aunt Clare goes to California.I don't want to seperate from Anna".Angelina was crying bitterly.
"Ma,you will go to California.It's for our benefit."Anna told Clare.Angelina was shocked.
"Ann,you want us to be seperated?We won't see each other again".
"Remember,Elina.In life,we will meet someone and would be seperated one day.That doesn't mean that we won't meet each other forever.Keep yourself bold".
"Alright,Ann.But keep my owl necklace so you will always remember me".
"And you can keep my charm bracelet,Elina".
Angelina and Anna hugged each other.
"I love you,Ann.I have high hopes that we would meet again".
"Me too,Elina".
Hugo and Clare stood there with tears rolling down their cheeks.That was what they were supposed to do when Hugo had to study in Cambridge.
Im sorry as this time the story is short.As im quite busy with school stuff so i have never get a opportunities to write.To those who are reading thank you for waiting.
