Andy and I have been best friends for exactly 5 years today and for the last year I've began to gain feelings for him but I've always been too afraid to tell him. My phone went off signalling I had a text from someone.
'Heyyyy!! Do you wanna meet at costa in 15?x' I smiled to myself reading Andy's text and replied instantly. I got changed and brushed my teeth before leaving quickly.
It took about 5 or more minutes to get there and I felt my heart race as I saw him sat with his head in his hands, I ran over to him giving him a hug as he jumped slightly and I laughed.
"Sooo what's up?" He seemed really nervous which I found adorable.
"I have a very important question to ask you and I know you might say no but-" he bit his lip.
"You can ask me Andy, take your time" I gave a comforting smile and he nodded sitting down. "Wanna get a drink?" We ordered two hot chocolates.
"Well I've been meaning to ask you or tell you think for awhile but I really like you and it's okay if you don't like me back but id rather ask you than not but willyoubemygirlfriend?" He spoke so quickly that I needed to get him to repeat himself.
"Will you be my girlfriend Jodie?" My heart skipped a beat and my eyes widened.
"Oh my god, I'd love to!" My heart and I couldn't contain the smile that appeared on my face as he placed his lips on mine smiling as we then continued our day as normal.
