~at Natsu's place, well the ride there~

"I'm sorry for dragging you like that. I just had to get away-"

"It's alright, Lucy. I get it you don't want to get into the whole marriage cycle again when you're heart is still healing"

"H-How did you...?"

"Well, Aqua told me a bit about why you had finally decided to come out of your room after a tragic event. I'm sorry I shouldn't have brought that up. Once we get to my place I'll let you meet Happy. I'm sure he would be excited to met you" he said trying to change the subject

"It's fine Natsu thanks for caring. It's just been hard these past few months. I feel like I'm alone-"

"I'll always be there" he says laying his hand on hers, smiling a tiny hint of pink on his cheeks

"How can I ever thank you. I don't know how I would get through this without you"

"Don't worry I will always be here for you. Now come inside so you can meet Happy" he grinned dragged her out of the limo

"Happy!" he called out once inside, "Happy, come here"

"Meow" they heard a meow not a happy meow more like a 'help me' kind of meow

Soon they saw a blue fur ball run through the doors and under the couch. Trying to hide his entire body under the small space. Then footsteps were heard and a voice calling out to happy.

"Happy, come out. I just want to play" she called out holding a tiny dress

"We-Wendy!" Lucy was shocked

"Lucy-san"

"You two know each other?" Natsu asked, his head tilted to the side

"Yea, but the question here is how you two know each other?" Lucy asked him

"We're cousins" they said, in unison

"Wow..." she whispered

"Wendy, you got to leave Happy alone"

"I just wanted to play with him"

"You know he doesn't like playing dress up"

"I wanna play with him"

"I think he is super adorable" they both turned to see Lucy holding happy in her arms as he cuddled closer to her, purring

"Wow... I'm surprised he let you hold him"

"Maybe he just likes me because of my own"

"You mean Yuki. She is pretty but scares me"

"Yuki loves you. She loves when you come by to visit"

"Still a bit scary but... anyways let's go upstairs"

"Ohh" Wendy called out behind them

"Don't mind her" he whispered

~with Gray~

"I don't know what to do Genie"

"Well, I'm not sure. My question is why give a fake name just to see her again"

"It's not like I can take it back. She thinks I'm dead!"

"What do we do?" Genie asked

"I have to win her heart once again"

~back to Lucy~

"I should be getting home. Thank you for letting me stay here, I just didn't want to be home after that"

"No problem, you're welcome here whenever you want. How about I give you a ride home"

"That's fine. Capricorn is already outside"

"Then at least let me walk you out" she nodded

He walked her back downstairs and out the door. Capricorn was there waiting by the limo as they walked down the steps. Capricorn opened the door with a bow

"Thank you, Prince Natsu"

"Natsu is just fine. I'll see you soon, Luce" he blushed kissing her cheek as she entered the limo and he watched as it got further away

As she stepped out the limo, Capricorn helped her to the door, holding it open for her. As she walked in she noticed the small light that came from the hall meaning the fireplace was on. Which is strange it's always off after ten. She walked closer to see someone with raven black hair across from her father. She couldn't see the face of the stranger from their back was to her.

"Lucy, dear. Great news" he waved her over

As she got closer the man turned to face her and she went frozen

*gasp*

"I-Is it true..." she held her hand out to his cheek a single tear fell from her eye, "Gray" her voice barely a whisper

"Lucy" he stood up to hug her, "How I missed you. Why didn't you just tell me you wanted to come back home"

"I will give you two a chance to talk" her father said standing up and walking to his office

"I wanted to tell you b-but first I wanted to tell f-father about you" she cried, "What happened. The guards found a note saying you were dead and without a single trace left"

"The minute I say your letter I knew I had to find you. I wasn't letting you go after everything we been through. On my way here I was attacked not sure by who or what. It all happened so fast that by the time I woke up I was on a strange warehouse. No matter what I knew I had to come back and find you, so I got here and you weren't home so I spoke with your father"

"I just glad you are alright and back here with me" she cried hugging him, "Come on we should have a bath drawn for you and a room set up so you can stay here"

As soon as Lucy left 'Gray' in the guest room and knew she was out of hearing range, he laughed a wickedly laugh. One that would send shivers down your spine not in pleasurable way but in disgust.

"You have no idea what you having coming your way, Princess" he laughed 

"Are you sure you will be able to fool her and keep those two away from her?" his parrot squawked

"Don't you worry, Bird. The Princess is wrapped around my finger everything will be at the palms of my hands. The Princess, the King, the whole Kingdom, will be MINE"

"I can't wait. I want them to suffer especially the snobby, spoiled of a brat Princess. Who thinks you aren't good enough-"

"Silence, stupid bird" 'Gray' hissed gripping his throat in his hand
