~at the palace, nobody's pov ~

*knock knock*

"Hello can I help you?" Virgo asked

"I'm here to see Princess Lucy..."

"I'm sorry but the Princess isn't-" she didn't finish because they pushed by her and started screaming

"Lucy! Lucy where are you?!"

"Sir I suggest you leave before King-"

"Virgo, who is that" a voice boomed at the top of the stairs

King Jude made his way to the living room. Standing in front of the young man who was yelling

"What do you want, Kid!"

"I'm here to see Princess Lucy"

"I suggest you leave before I have to use force"

"I will not leave till I see LUCY!" he yelled back

"That's it, I warned you Kid" he raised his hand ready to hit him

"Father, what's going on?" Lucy asked

"Lucy get back to your studies" her father ordered

The closer she got the more clear she can make the face of the other person. Her eyes widened when she noticed it was Gray.

"What are you doing here?" she asked

"I came to see you. Everyone misses you and we are worried about you"

She faced her father "I will take care of this father" she curtis, "Gray..." she looked into his eyes"I suggest you leave and don't even come back again. I told you already I'm going to get married and I'm happy"

He can see it in her eyes. She was sad, scared, lonely, and in pain. She tried lying but her eyes and smile tell a different story.

"Lucy I know you're lying. This isn't what you want, I-"

"Gray, enough. I already said it once, I will get married and I am happy to be marrying someone as amazing as Prince Natsu. I think it's time for you to leave" she yelled, a few tears managed to slip out

He noticed her tears and knew he wouldn't get anywhere with her like that. So the best thing was to leave, "You better not show your face here ever again, Kid" King Jude spat as Gray left head hanging low

~1 week left till Wedding, Lucy pov~

I only have one week left before my wedding. The thing that I hate is that I only went out with the guy once and now he is my future husband. I still practice the role of what a future wife should do at home. I been at it for 2 months. I feel terrible for yelling at Gray. No matter how much I wanted to run into his arms and never leave his side. I couldn't disobey my father and his business. I really miss everyone I met at school and now I'm not even allowed to see Prince Loki. They say I shouldn't interact with any other male but my husband, father and father-in-law.

~day before wedding~

I am currently in my room on a podium getting fitted for my wedding dress. They have me try on more than twenty dresses and this is the final gown. It's a vintage ball gown, off the shoulder lace sheer neck a-line capped wedding dress.

"This is the one" I say without emotion

"Lucy, baby girl, are you sure you want to go through with this plan?" Aqua asked

I turned to face her with tears in my eyes, my vision blurry, biting my lower lip to stop the tears from falling, "I have to Aqua, if I don't my father's business will go down hill and I just want my dad happy. If that means I have to sacrifice my happiness for him. I don't need time to think it over. I would give it up just for him" the tears spill out from my eyes as my sobs got louder as my sobs got louder, my legs felt weak and gave in, making me fall. Yuki and Aqua caught me and held me till I was a bit calm before falling into darkness known as sleep.
