"When I was in a pit of despair

I pushed you away and resented that I met you"

Chapter 6 - First Love

Smiling, he holds her tighter in his arms, not wanting to let go.

Their foreheads were pressed together, noses lightly touching the other.

Lips mere inches apart, both were curved upward in a smile.

He leans in and pecks her soft pink lips in quick intervals, causing the girl to giggle.

Blushing profusely, the girl then presses her lips to his, melting into the sweet gesture.

Closing both their eyes, they allow themselves to give in into the kiss.

His hand finds her neck and positions itself near the area behind her ear to softly caress her scalp as he tilts her head to a better angle.

His other hand remains by her waist, gripping it gently, not too loose and not to tight.

Their bodies seemed to melt with each other and relax by every touch.

Suddenly, his eyes seems to itch, wanting to open and look at the treasure before him.

Murmuring her name into the kiss, he opens his eyes.

The gray cracked ceiling meets his gaze, looking  more wore down than it was a few years before.

He releases a sigh and puts his arm over his eyes to shield them from the sun's rays.

Just a dream.

He almost believed it was real.

Grunting under his breath, he slowly drags himself to the bathroom to do his business.

Cold water pelts on his skin in quick succession, causing him to shiver and curse on a hundred reasons why the heater wasn't working when it was nearing winter season.

Letting his body adjust to the sudden change of temperature, he blankly stares at the tiled walls of the ever so familiar room.

His mind wandering on things here and there, but it always seemed to always end with her.

For instance, he was thinking of what they would have for breakfast, then he'd end up thinking how her lips would curve into a smile as she chewed her food whenever she caught him staring at her.

He was thinking of the places he would station his men at the raid, then he'd end up thinking what positions she loved to be in while they were cuddling by the fire.

He was thinking what gun should he bring with him today during operations, then he'd end up thinking and remembering how her small figure felt against his.

Snapping out of his thoughts, he lightly noted that his hair had been thoroughly been wet by the shower and was sticking to his forehead and hindering his vision.

Sighing, he was soon finished with his shower and strolls to his wardrobe to grab his clothes, making sure they were easy to move in and black.

Pocketing his guns, he briefly scans his quarters to see if he had forgotten to bring anything important.

Satisfied there were none, he makes his way to the warehouse just across the street to meet with the rest of the members that are going to be involved in today's raid.

Stopping briefly at the metal doors of the warehouse, he closes his eyes.

He imagines her whenever he was to leave for 'work'.
