The people were spiders.
They were all connected, staring out at others, catching prey with their glares.
Every single person wore the same black uniform, the pants, the shoes, the shirt were all identical. But they were far from it. Each of their webs, built differently.
They acted different, thought different. But now, every single one of them thought the same thought.

Their eyes bore into my skin like daggers. Piercing, bloody, and deadly.
I was dragged to the middle of an open space in the building. White walls, pillars, and black clothed people surrounded me. In front of me was the queen of all arachnids.
Her web shot out in all directions with her at the center. It was a demanding web. A demanding web with thousands of threads and she knew how each and every one of them danced.
She sat on a white chair, wearing black heels, black pants, and black shirt. Her midriff was slightly exposed due to the transparency of the middle of her blouse and her nails were long and sharp, changing length every time she moved.
She clearly had power for once she set her black, soulless eyes on me, all claims were rescinded. No one challenged her for she had it all.
She had all the power.
The government official robotically called out to the women, " Citizen Number 495876 called in for violation of the 45th amendment to the New American Constitution," they paused, waiting for nothing and playing with my curiosity like a cat with string. "Awaiting verdict, Madame Vertex"
Her eyes were black orbs, sitting in her eye sockets, boring into me. Each second she stared made her gaze more powerful. More direct. More deadly.
The Madame scanned me up and down, paused for a brief moment, my arm stiil in the government officials arm, her eyes still digging, and then,
