Annabeth was never very fond of Jason Grace. Sure he had helped save the world with the rest of the seven but she felt Jason was always trying to one up Percy. Annabeth was starting to open up her heart a little bit when she heard something she would forever be angry about.
Jason Grace said that he was better than Percy Jackson. In front of the whole camp. That was a big no-no in her book. She silently stood up and took the nearest weapon- which just so happened to be the complete Lord of the Rings trilogy, and walked over to Jason.
Now you should never underestimate Annabeth because even if she is a nerd she could still kick your sorry behind into next year if she wanted.
She took the book and whipered, into Jason's ear, "You will never compare to Percy."
She smacked Jason, with the book, the back of the head with enough force to knock him out and send him flying. Jason landed with around right in front of Percy.
"Aww. You go wise girl! You put the cute in execute!"
