---2 WEEKS LATER---

Julie's POV

We were finally home. Luke stayed with me in London until I was ready to go home. In total honesty I'm not ready to be an adult. I wish I was the crazy teenager running around pretending to be someone I'm not. Sure it stressed me out but life as I now know it stresses me out.

Calum And Michael came over to play video games. Michael is sitting next to me pretty much dying. "I'm done!" He yelled tossing the controller onto the couch. Luke and Calum laughed at him.

I just sat there, watching them have their little moment.

I was bored.

I looked through the contacts on my phone to find Kalebs. Should I call him? No. I went put on a date with him just to get get back with my ex fiance. Well now the engagement is back on but whatever.

I was thinking about styling my hair a new way. Maybe cutting it short or dying it. Or wearing it a different way. Brown just isn't cutting it. I've been thinking about dying my hair hot pink at the ends. Like an ombre.

Luke would kill me.

"Earth to babe." Luke said waving his hand in front of my face.

"Sorry what?"

"We're gonna go get coffee and head out to the boardwalk. Wanna come?" Calum said.

"Yeah sure. Let me get ready."

I ran upstairs and looked for an outfit.

Light wash shorts, a Nirvana t-shirt and black vans. I got dressed and grabbed my purse alone with my sunglasses.

We decided on dunkin donuts since Michael and I were hungry. Worth it though. I hadn't realized how much I missed dunkin donuts.

So good.

Seriously I'm like 4 donuts into the box.

Why can't Starbucks have donuts like this. I would go there all the time.

We got to the boardwalk and I went straight to the dock that leads to the ocean. I miss the beach. The sun on my skin and the heat. London is cold and rainy like all the time.

I sat on a bench and just took it in.

"This is nice." I heard Luke say as he sat next to me.

"Indeed." Calum chimed in.

I looked over to a little tattoo booth. Hmm.

"I want a tattoo." Michael choked on the donut he was eating and they all looked at me like I was crazy.

"Umm....are you sure?"

"Yes." I walked over to the booth and saw something that stood out. It was a broken diamond. I don't know why I but I really want it.

"Babe I dont know..." Luke trailed off.

"I want it. On my tricep." The tattoo artist looked from me to the needles and began her work. This hurt like hell. I was almost in tears by the time she was done. It looked badass.

A diamond in the rough. Kinda explains me.
