Chapter 1

6 MONTHS LATER

~Julie~

Walking into Luke and I's new home I set down a few more boxes. I can't believe we are actually doing this. It seems like yesterday he was proposing to me.

I walked out to our car to get more boxes when I see Luke carrying like ten of them. "Need help?" I asked.

"Pfft I got the muscle." He winked. I laughed as he did and helped him anyways.

"Where are Calum and Michael with our furniture?" I asked putting the boxes in the living room.

"I don't know." Luke said wrapping his arms around my waist and planting his lips on mine. "And right now...I don't care." He mumbled before kissing me again.

As the kiss got more heated..."Holy shit!" I recognized as Calum's voice

Luke and I pulled apart. After all these years we still get embarrassed when caught. And we get caught, a lot. One time Ashton walked in on us almost about to 'get it on'.

"We got the U-Haul." Michael said walking out. Calum awkwardly shuffled out as well. Luke laughed as I did before kissing my cheek.

"I'm gonna go help those dorks." He said before jogging out.

I smiled and started walking around the house. I told him simple and what does he do? Buys a 7 bedroom, 4 bathroom, huge yard and pool house in the middle of LA. This is anything but simple.

The master bedroom is huge! Before today we had painted almost all the rooms. Our bedroom is red, the kitchen is blue, the living room is grey, the guest bedroom is green and one bathroom is creme. I picked the colors.

Walking into the backyard it was pretty nice. I like how the pool is open instead of closed off.

"Julie!"

I ran back into the house to find our couch stuck in the doorway. I couldn't help but bust into laughter. "This isn't funny." Huffed Michael.

"Yeah...it...is." I said between fits of giggles. Once I calm down I walk over and try helping. But being me, it didn't do much. "Bring it around back and through the French doors." I said after about 10 minutes of struggle.

They stopped and groaned in frustration. "I feel so dumb." Said Calum.

"You said it didn't." Luke said laughing. Soon we all joined him.

It was lunch time so the guys and I decided to head to McDonald's. I got a number 8, bacon wrap while the others got Big Macs. I also got a smoothie.

"Where have Jen and Ashton been?" I asked.

"Wedding planning." Michael answered. Oh yeah. They got engaged a year before Luke and I. The ring is gorgeous and Jennie is going all out for the wedding. She wants me to be her bride of honor which is amazing. 

I finished my smoothie and threw out my garbage while the guys were still eating. I went on my phone and started playing Temple Run. 

"I'm done losers." Calum said finishing his Coke.

"Same." Agreed Michael who was on his phone as well.

They through all their garbage away and we made our way to the car. Once we got in I turned the radio on and some random song was on. It had a really nice beat so I turned it up.

It's now dark outside. All day we were moving things into the house and upstairs. The master bedroom is complete along with the kitchen.

Luke and I are sitting in bed, him on his laptop watching videos and I'm texting Finn. Yes we still keep in touch. We're like bffs. It's crazy to think about how we met after all these years. 5 and a half. Wow.

"We should go shopping tomorrow. At like IKEA."

Luke just nodded and continued with his videos.
