𝐄𝐃𝐌𝐔𝐍𝐃 𝐋𝐄𝐃 me to a room under the boat. It was very beautiful; gold trimming lining the walls which were neatly stained planks of wood, a comfortable looking twin sized bed in the corner, lain with a plush brown quilt. A square window was along the far wall, covered by curtains. From where I was you could see eye level with the waves crashing outside the window.

"Sit down," Edmund said, gesturing to the bed.

Walking over, I sat on the edge and crossed my legs, pulling the towel closer to my body.

Edmund slowly walks over, wrapping his towel around my shoulders as well, as if he could tell I was still cold.

Sitting on the edge of the bed next to me, he sits still in silence for a couple of seconds before turning to face me completely.

"Alright... I don't really know why you're here, that is something only one person can explain and he doesn't really work in direct ways."

I looked into his eyes, which were pleading for me to understand. I nodded slightly, knowing that an explanation with every question answered is a little too much to ask.

Edmund took a deep breath, "I also need to tell you that, in this land, Lucy and I are High Kings and Queens."

I furrowed my eyebrows and opened my mouth to ask a million questions running through my brain all at once, but Edmund cut me off, "I know it sounds crazy, but with how we got here I think it's believable."

Closing my mouth, I looked down into my lap, nodding slowly at the thought.

"I've been here twice before, that's where I know Caspian and Reep."

Not being able to hold it in any longer, "There are talking animals?"

Edmund chuckled with a small smirk on his face, "Yes. Trust me, Peter was just as baffled as you were when we first arrived. A beaver had gotten quite upset."

Letting out a huff of laughter, I slumped in my seat.

"I could tell you my favourite things about Narnia if you'd like," Edmund suggested.

I smiled at him with a small nod of my head, happy I'm getting something explained, "Please and thank you."

Edmund shifted on the bed so his back was against the wall closest to us, patting the spot next to him, he sighed happily, "Get comfortable."

I shifted next to him and listened to him talk passionately about the land we wandered into. I learned all his favourite things; helping out in the wars he fought in and being royalty for the short time he's here, unlike the downgrading world of England. I learned about the special people here; Caspian, Reepicheep and Mr. Tumnus. I learned about Lucy's favourite person, the one everyone always loves and counts on; Aslan.

The way he talked like there was no end in sight brought happiness to my heart. The emotion radiated off of him like an aura. I loved to see him so happy, it made me happy.

After Edmund had finished his lengthy explanation and we had gotten changed; Edmund gave me some of the clothes he had found in a drawer, for the time being, we made our way back up to the deck of the ship where King Caspian and Lucy were waiting for us.
