(Chapter 5) We Belong Together
You and Asura seemed to have an unbreakable bond. After all, he saved your life, kept you from being crushed by the ceiling, and helped you walk again. You admit, you had developed feelings for your guardian kishin. You knew he wasn't evil. He was just a little insane. But even now, he isn't as crazy as he was back then. If anyone had said to you when you were 14 that you would fall for a kishin, you would've said that they were crazy. It was ironic because of how you both met.
~Flashback to 4 years ago~
"NO!" you screamed as Asura stood before you, Kid, Black Star, Eruka, and Free. Black Star tried hitting him with his wavelength, but he failed and fell to the ground when the kishin touched him. Kid shot at him, but Asura stretched his skin so it whipped itself at Kid, making him fall and lose consciousness. Eruka and Free had already fainted, leaving you. You summoned the blade of a sword from your shoulder. You taught yourself that you can remove the swords so they are actual swords. You pulled it out and pointed it at the kishin before you.
"Don't tempt me kishin. I will show no mercy.
"Heh... ha...haha... HAHAHAHAHA!!! You think that a puny weakling like you can hurt me? Try it. Your friends were much stronger."
You charged for him and swung the sword at him. He grabbed the blade and hit you with it. It cut your arm. You jumped back, glaring at him.
"Keep the sword. It's of no use to me."
"Oh, but (Y/N), this is part of you. Here."
He threw it at you. You caught it. He stared at you as he covered himself in scarves made of his own skin. You summoned another sword, so now you were duel wielding.
"My, you're a persistent one, aren't you?"
The scarves that covered his face opened up, revealing his face. You almost melted at the look he gave you, but you didn't let it get to your head. His raven black hair with a white eye shaped pattern it, pale skin, and blood red eyes. But there was the third one on his forehead. He was smirking evilly.
"Don't even try (Y/N). Save your strength. This won't be the last time we meet."
His scarves touched your face. You flung back and fell into unconsciousness.
~Back to reality~
It was strange. How you hated him from the start, then fell for him 4 years later. Asura came into your room.
"Asura, you never told me how you knew my name. You spoke my name when we first met, yet no one told you."
"The jacket you were wearing had your name stitched on it in cursive."
"Oh." You sat on your bed. Asura kept staring at you. It started to creep you out a little bit. This wasn't normal of him to just stare at you. For some reason, you felt as though it was time to speak your feelings. You took a deep breath.
"Asura... I-I... love you... a-a lot..."
Silence followed afterwards. Asura took a step towards you. You didn't move from you spot. Asura leaned close to your face. He placed a hand on your cheek as he pulled your face towards him. Your lips crashed against his lips. They were surprisingly soft, due to him being a kishin. It was a rather sweet kiss that ended all too soon. He just stared into your eyes. He had taken your first kiss.
"We belong together. No matter what. You were my first." You kind of thought that was a no brainer for him. He's a kishin. So he might not get all the ladies. You hugged him.
"Same here Asura. Same here."
The hug lasted for a few minutes. He kissed your cheek before leaving the room. You fell down on your bed, heart fluttering like the wings of a monarch butterfly. Face red like Asura's eyes. You were smiling. You already knew he cared, but you felt good that someone cared about you enough that he wanted to kiss you. The happiness flowed throughout.
'I love my guardian kishin...'
