Chapter Thirteen - Dinner & Calls
Chris' Point Of View
After finding out Ian had a younger brother, Salem, Erika, Macy, Ian, Graham and I went out to Chester's for dinner, because by the time the whole "reviving Graham" thing was over, it was 6 o'clock.
Coincidentally, we were sitting in the same booth that the guys and I sat in when we first met.
"Hello?" Ian asked, picking up his phone suddenly.
I could hear a muffled voice, and then a shout in the background before Ian answered, "yeah. We're at Chester's." A pause, "yeah. Okay. See ya," before he hung up. "The guys will be here in five minutes," he sent a wink in my direction before picking up his menu from the table and flicking his eyes over the laminated page.
The waiter came over, a different one from last time, and we told him that we weren't ready yet, "but you're all here," he protested.
I rolled my eyes, and was about to say something snarky like "sorry it takes us a while to decide what we want" but I didn't because Salem beat me too it.
"Maybe we haven't figured out what we want to eat yet." She snapped.
The waiter started at her for a little longer before muttering a pathetic sorry and leaving.
"If he wasn't our waiter he would've said something right back to ya," Macy told her. Salem just shrugged.
"The party has arrived!" I heard Connor's familiar voice ring through the restaurant, people starting to stare at the stampede of boys disapprovingly.
I laughed, "hey guys, long time no see!"
"Chris!" Hayden yelled, "I missed you little sis."
I rolled my eyes, "I'm not your sister."
"There's a possibility."
Rolling my eyes, I turned towards Callum who's arm had already wrapped around my waist, "hey."
He smiled down at me, "hey."
"No lovey eyes at the table!" Ryan yelled, and I saw Ian glaring at us.
Ian caught my stare and turned away sheepishly, training his eyes on Erika who was too busy looking down at her phone to notice.
We all slid into the booths tighter, very squished, as the other guys joined us in the tiny space.
"Why didn't you get a bigger booth," Hayden complained.
I rolled my eyes, "we didn't know you were coming. A heads up might've been nice, huh?"
He laughed, as did the rest of our table, "so who are these lovely ladies?"
"I'm Macy," Macy told him, "and I have a boyfriend."
He winked at her shamelessly, and I kicked him under the table.
He groaned in pain just as Salem started introducing herself. I didn't miss the glances Ryan was sending her and I knew that I was going to make that happen. Erika went next, and Hayden's eyes never left her once as she spoke, which was odd for him because usually he acts like he can't sit still.
The teenage waiter came over again, and Callum stood up and did a bro-hug thing with him, obviously knowing who he was.
"Hey guys its Brendan!"
The brown haired guy waved at all of us, but clearly ignored Salem, and I had to hold in a laugh.
"That's Chris, my girlfriend, Ian's brother, Graham and Chris' friends, Macy, Salem and Erika," he finished pointing to each of them as he said their names.
