To Liam, it was only a matter of seconds until Maci died. Every night she would stay over, enveloped in his arms so he knew she was safe; when she got up at night for a drink of water or to go to the toilet, Liam would follow (and turn around of course, they hadn't got to that stage yet).

''Liam, seriously, I need to shower. What's wrong?'' Maci groaned, folding her arms as Liam stood next to the bathroom door.

''Just worried about you.'' He shrugged, then seeing the 'thanks, but no thanks' face she held.

''I'm fine!'' She exclaimed, swaying their, now, held hands, ''Promise'' she said, pecking his lips before pushing him out and locking the bathroom door.

''At least let me join you?'' He begged, but was silenced by the faint murmur of 'horny teenage puppy' ''I heard that!''

''It was my intention.'' She shouted over the watering shower before the sounds of heavy clothes dropping on the floor and a closing of a curtain filled the werewolf's ears.

After getting out of the shower, Maci headed to Liam's room to get changed as they were practically living in the same house and room now.

"I'm going on a run with Mason, come with me?" Liam asked as he found her scanning a drawer for clothes.

"Sure." She smiled, throwing all of them back and taking a sports bra (covered by a drop-arm vest), Nike trainers and black leggings.

The three were running up a path, Liam appearing restless as the two 'humans' struggled to keep up with the werewolf― only the paler brunette knowing of his kind as the other freshman seemed to have not been told by his best friend, who Liam had no trouble trusting yet chose not to tell him.

"Liam, wait up!" Maci yelled, trying to catch up to her boyfriend, though wanting to stay in Mason's eye-reach so she didn't lose him, or vise versa.

Though, when finally catching up to him she found that the blonde-beauty, known as Liam, could no longer be found. "This better not be some fucking cop chase or I'm out." She gasped, Mason soon caught up, shaking his head violently in attempt to find his missing best friend.

''Where'd he go?''

''Does it look like I know?'' Maci spat, instantly regretting her words as a frown made its way upon her best friend's face ''Sorry M.'' She pat his shoulder ''We'll find him, don't worry.'' She encouraged, not sure whether it was herself or him she needed to convince, though, either way; it wasn't working for any of them.

''Where is he?'' Scott asked, pulling Maci into his chest to comfort her as her racing heartbeat was obviously annoying Malia due to her 'resting bitch face' plastering her gorgeous one.

''I- we don't know.'' Mason answered, pointing in between the two freshmans ''We went out for a run but he just disappeared...''

''But, that's not the worst thing.'' Maci continued, getting a confused glance from Mason, as if to say 'bitch how that not the worst thing hmm' you know that one... ''I think he's hurt.'' She said, putting her hand into view to reveal the before-warm blood that belonged to Liam.

So hey, sorry for the long wait but do you like the new cover? It doesn't fit the theme but it's like really pretty and I see tons of covers with photos from things like tumblr soo....

This was short too but I wanted to update before I go missing for months again

Also, yes this story is/was on hold though I feel bad for not updating.

ANOTHER ALSO (PLEASE READ) the rest might not follow the complete story with like Kate and that, but (spoiler i guess) Derek will get kidnapped and turn like hotter.

aotc: they both fit as fuck but i prayed that young derek would stay because omg!!!!
