Jealousy

Jack stood at the doorway, watching you do your makeup. "What are you doing to your face?" he asked. "It's called makeup, Jack. I need it to look pretty for my date." you replied. 'Date?' Jack thought. "What's his name?" He asked. "Kyle. He's sweet." You replied, daydreaming.

Jack walked back to Sam, who was sitting on the couch, staring at the flashing lights on the televison. "I don't like him." Jack suddenly said. Sam tore his eyes from the mesmerizing screen and turned to Jack. "Don't like who?" "Y/N's date, Kyle." Jack replied. Before Sam could reply, you grabbed Baby's keys. "I'm gonna use Baby to drive, thanks, bye!" You said quickly, running out the door.

"I may be wrong, but I think you're jealous, Jack."

You pulled up to the restaurant that you and your date agreed to meet. You didn't see him yet, so you decided to sit at your table, still waiting for your date to come. One hour passed. Then two. Then four. Staff and customers were staring at you in pity. 'So this is what being stood up feels like'. You got up and walked out the door, tears threatening to run down your face. You finally reached Baby, fumbling with the keys, tears blurring your vision. You started driving, and eventually you had to pull over and just cry.

You at last, got back to the bunker, pissed. You made a sprint for your room, Jack noticing, and you locked the door. Sobs could be heard from the other side of the door. "Y/N? You okay?" Silence. Then, "No. He stood me up! He didn't even come!" You shouted.

Jack was angry. Furious. "He what? You two planned a night out together and he didn't even come? What type of douche does that?" He yelled. He calmed himself down, eyes dimming to his usual shade of blue. "Could I come in?" He asked.

You got up and opened your door, then went back to the warmth of your bed, curling up in a ball. You felt a dip at your side, and soon Jack began cuddling you.

You chuckled as he made the attempt. You rolled over, facing Jack. "I love you." Jack smiled and hugged you in a protective way. "I love you, too."
