First of all I want to say this is my first book I'm writing in Wattpad.
Read and enjoy this book. I hope you love it the way I love this book.

Sienna
"Come in"
I slowly turned the door knob open and walked over to the table and pulled out a seat that was on the edge of the mahogany table.
I sat on the chair,my gaze transfixed on the brown carpeted floor."Kase"
I shifted my gaze to Mr Richardson, who was tapping the table with his pen.
"What's your excuse today for not doing a good job"
"Justin Bieber being caught with another girlfriend is new-"
"Oh Kase, who in this planet doesn't know that. We need something fresh. Something never heard on the media. To be honest, today's article was a flop. I was expecting more from you"
I grew quiet. The past few weeks have not been easy for me.
"Just give me another chance. Please."
Mr Richardson stared at me for a while, doubting my reply.
"Okay, second chance count. Don't mess this up Kase."
I nodded and rose from my seat and straightened my short black skirt before heading on to the door.
"Kase, before you leave...remember that I have faith in you. It's hard to get young talent like yours nowadays. Don't screw this up."
I looked back and nodded.
"I hope so",I muttered under my breathe before turning the door knob open.

"How did it go?" Meg asked as she played with her straw of the blueberry milkshake.
"Awful. I can't believe Richy doesn't like my story. It took a lot of effort to put it together." I said miserably before gulping down my Diet Pepsi.
"Don't worry Sisi, you'll make it ,I know you will." Meg replied with a warm smile.
I smiled back at her.Megan was my closest friend who I could easily talk to. She was a fashion columnist and blogger. She had long auburn hair and the sweetest pair of black eyes.
It was my lunch break and I was in a coffee shop together with Megan, Myles and Levine.
"Did you hear about the inauguration party of CD Banks that happened last night?" Levine asked changing the topic.
"Levine, who the hell wants to know about it. I speak fashion, you speak business. Stick to that" Meg remarked, obviously bored with Levine.
Levine brushed off Meg's comment and continued.
"Well...CD Banks appointed a new CEO in the company,Mason Dalton, son of The Late Charlie Dalton, who just passed on recently due a heart complication."
"O..Kay. What's so special about him anyway that celebrities came to his inauguration?" I asked , getting interested with the story.
"Close family ties with most them. He's just twenty-one years old, started working in the bank at the age of sixteen as a junior clerk. Such a young lad in the corporate world. I published it on my article today." Levine answered.
"Twenty-one and a CEO, he's living the life" Myles remarked.
"Wait...you said he's called Mason Dam..."
"Dalton" Levine corrected me.
I jumped from my seat and gave Levine a peck on his cheek before rushing out if the store.
"Man, I just got a kiss from Sienna Kase." Levine said, a boyish grin plastered on his face.
"If I were you, I wouldn't want Leon to find out" Myles remarked, making everyone laugh.

"Did I interrupt something?"
Leon shifted his gaze from the laptop screen to me. He ran his right hand through his black hair before crossing his legs on his arm chair.
"Not at all babe."
I sat on the edge of his desk, my arms crossed over my chest.
"I came to ask for a favour"
"Favour?"
"Yap. Its more of a question"
"Question?"
"Yes question"
"Should I be concerned an ask why?"
"Just listen and stop being stubborn"
Leon chuckled before sitting upright.
"Well....you are an investigative reporter. What advice would you give to person going undercover?"
Leon grew quiet before answering.
"Let me guess, the person is Sienna?"
"And we got a winner.... drumrolls.... Leon Markers....let's give him a round of applause everybody" I commented sarcastically.
"I hope your taking notes"
"You mean mental notes"
Leon nodded and continued
"First and foremost, always be prepared. Do your research before you go there. Carry all the essentials. Camera, notebook and your phone to get concrete evidence. You know how much the readers like something to backup what their reading on the paper so that they don't think it's a bunch of fake news."
He paused for a while and and gave me a quick smile before he continued.
"Listen to your gut. If it's too dangerous and your gut is screaming it is,don't do it. Some things are worth risking for.
I guess that is what I would tell a Sienna Kase who needed my advice."Without any warning, I wrapped my arms around his neck.
"Whoa! Go a little bit easier on me Sisi" Leon exclaimed before hanging me back
"Thanks so much Leon. You just saved my career. You should seriously joined the counselling column, you'll beat Becca on her game." I whispered on to his ear.
"Your always welcome babe and I think I'm okay with investigating for now" He said and softly kissed me my left cheek.
