Chapter 1

Cheryl POV:
Me and Ronnie went shopping for the whole day trying find something to wear for tonight party. Mom and dad still haven't told me what was the party actually for. Ronnie dropped me off at my house. Ronnie is my best friend who also happened to be my big brother, Archie's wife. Their love is never lasting.

I opened the front door and found mom and dad talking with Mr. Jones. WHAT? Why is Mr. Jones? He's our family's enemy. He and his son is our competition so why is he in our living room? I walked up to mom and dad. "Cheryl nice to see you again?" Mr. Jones says. I put on a fake smile. "You too." I lied.

Mom and dad looks at me and says "Cheryl go to your room. We will speak to you after we are done talking with Mr. Jones here." Dad says. I nodded and followed the instructions. I went to my room and set the shopping bags on my bed. "Good afternoon." Maria says as she came in my room with a tray set of food. "Good afternoon." I said back to her while she put the tray on the coffee table. "Thank you." As Maria left, mom and dad came in. "Cheryl?"

I nodded. "Why was Mr. Jones here?" I asked in furious. "He had an offer for us and we took it to evolve from the past and give in peace." Dad said. "What type of offer?" I asked. Mom stepped up to me and says "he offered us half partnership if we give you to marry his son. Jughead Jones." She explained and I stepped back in fear. "So...you guys gave me away for money?" I asked as the tears formed in my eyes. "The engagement is tonight at the party." Dad said then they both left the room.

I set on my bed. Trying to not feel hopeless. I called Ronnie but she didn't pick. I throw my phone on the floor and laid my body on the bed, letting all my heart cry.

Jughead POV:
I finished up my presentation and went back to my office. "Mr. Jones? Your father is here, do you want to call him up?" I nodded at my assistant Betty. Dad walking my office and set down on a set in front of me. "Hi dad." I said. "Hello, son. Tonight we are going to a party and you will be the star." I smiled when he said "star." I nodded. He left. I picked all my things and head home. I got dressed into a suit.

My driver drove me to the party. It was a big of the Blossoms. I went in and saw everyone staring at me. Dad was true. I am the star. I found my dad talking with Blossoms. I walked up to them. Why them? "Hello, Jughead. How are you doing?" Mrs. Blossom asked. "Good. How about you?" I asked back but don't really care. Why would dad come here? With the enemy? "Lovely, now that you're here."

Cheryl POV:
I put on my red dress and full makeup applied to my face. I decided to play along. If mom and dad wanna play the game game then I'll play but in a different position. I did a one last check on myself. Perfect, looking at the reflection. I head downstairs to the party and found pairs on eyes all on me. I put on a bright smile to replace the darkness.

I saw my parents and the Jones. But I ignored them. I found Veronica and brother talking. I went to them and decided to borrow Ronnie to the corner. "What's wrong Cheryl?" She asked. "Nothing, just the fact that my parents sell me off to the Jones for a fucking partnership." I said calmly. Her face turned lost. "What are you talking about?" I sighed and said "Mr. Jones offered my parents half partnership if they gave me away to marry Jughead. And they accepted it." I said trying not break down. "What?" She said in anger.

"Attention Everyone." Everyone face my parents on the staircase. "We would like to thank you all for coming. And therefore, we would finally like to tell you why we threw this party. As you know Mr. Jones who is now our former enemy and present friend. His charming son and our beautiful daughter will be united and tonight we will celebrate their engagement." Everyone started clapping as our parents signs us to come up to them. We both step to the stage. The rings were and Jughead looked very lost. Did his father not tell him.
