-Hide's pov-
I walked to the coffee shop, but I was so excited that I forgot that it doesn't open till 6:00 am...It is 5:30 right now. I sighed and just sat on my skateboard. "I guess I just wait..." I said with disappointment. I heard a scream in the background. I wanted to check it out, but Kaneki told me I should avoid dark ally's where people scream. I hesitated, but I still went to go help the women. I kicked up my skateboard and ran into the dark ally. I looked around to try and find the women but then stepped on something that felt squishy and flesh like. I looked down with terror in my eyes. SHE WAS DEAD! I tried to let out a scream put all that came out was a small wisp of my voice. I quickly got off of her broken off arm and looked at her other separated limbs. I noticed a shadow like creature making a chewing sound. I immediately realized that the creature was eating the woman so I ran as fast as I could. I didn't look back to see it the creature was chasing me because Kaneki told me not to look back when someone is chasing you. In fact he told me a lot of things on how to survive a murder. As I was caught up in the thought of why Kaneki had told me all of these facts I remembered an important one. I play back Kaneki's voice saying to me 'They could be a ghoul so just remember they like flesh. So throw some meat or something.' I groaned thinking 'Why the heck would I have meat?!' I ran faster fighting the burning feeling in my legs. I dared to look behind me. When I did look no one was chasing me. I picked up my skateboard for defense just incase. I slowly walks back to the coffee shop. I opened the front door because it was now 6:01 am. Touka is my love rival and even knowing that when I first saw her face I jumped into her arms almost knocking her over. I tried not to cry but when Kaneki entered the room with his working clothes on I started to weep. "H-hide! What's wrong?" Kaneki asked me as I left Touka and went to Kaneki. "It was horrible!"I exclaimed. "There was a dead woman and I creature and!" I couldn't get out a clear sentence but I think Kaneki understood me because he patted my back with care.
-Kaneki's Pov-
I patted Hide's back while I glared at Touka. Touka licked a bit of blood off of her lips. I could feel Hide trembling in my arms and I just looked down at him. I kissed the top of his head as if he were my child. I felt that I needed to comfort him in some other way then a hug.
-Hide's Pov-
I felt Kaneki's soft lips touch the top of my head. I slowly looked up at him with a tomato red blush. Kaneki realized what he had done and quickly backed off and started to stutter with the same amount of blush as me. I chuckled at his reaction. Kaneki just made up an excuse to leave the room. Touka followed after him while I was still distracted by the kiss.Nishio tapped me on the shoulder to ask why I arrived so early but instead of being chill and good I shouted "NO HOMO!" And ran.
-Touka Pov-
I just leaned up against a table while Kaneki was freaking out about the whole kiss thing. I just had a straight face on....Because I'm straight unlike Kaneki apparently.I sighed while the black haired boy was pacing the room . I grabbed his arm and kissed him on the mouth. He of course fainted like the weak ghoul he is. I just stared at him and nodded. "He swings both ways." I accidentally said out loud. I look around to see if anyone heard me. I shrugged and almost walked off but then I realized that Kaneki fainted. I had to drag his sorry ass to the ghoul hospital.
