Kaneki was back at the coffee shop learning more about the ghouls like always. Kaneki felt as if it was his job to learn everything about being a ghoul and how to survive. Mean while Hide was being ignored more and more day after day because Kaneki would always skip out on him to go with Touka. Hide never understood why though. Hide got more and more depressed by the day and something grew inside of himself. Not sorrow, but lust. Lust for Kaneki's touch. He wanted it. No! He NEEDED it! Hide ran to the coffee shop where Kaneki was studying. Hide practically slammed open the door nearly knocking off the 'open' sign. The human slammed his hands on Kaneki's table startling Kaneki. "H-hide!" Kaneki said all shaken up. Hide looked down at the papers he slammed his hands on. Before he could read the words Kaneki quickly collected the papers. "What is luohg noissim?" Hide questioned. Kaneki stuttered but never gave a clear sentence of what he wanted to say. Hide just ignored it and sat down at the table swiftly. He peered into Kaneki's eyes with lust. Kaneki had no idea what Hide was doing so he just sat there in silence gripping his papers. Hide tried to flirt, but Kaneki's mind was worried if Hide saw the papers that read 'Ghoul Mission'. Hide could tell Kaneki wasn't listening and that bothered him some but it didn't compare to when Touka told Kaneki to go with her. Hide huffed and puffed so much he was ready to blow a little piggies house down.
