The Marauders Through Time

Chapter 6

***James POV***

Harry and Lilly finally calm down after 20 minutes of crying. Hermione and Ron are still staring at us and it is starting to make me uncomfortable.

"What do you mean you are from the past?How did you get here?" Hermione asks and now that Lilly is calmed down starts rounding on us and tell the whole story.

"Well I was minding my own business and my friend Sev and I were just leaving our last class. These four knuckleheads seemed to unconciously decide that it would be fun to bump into us and make me drop my books and just run on like nothing happened! We picked up my books and I said goodbye to Sev and walked on to my next class. I was one of the rare children that overbooked their timetable and ended up having to go back in time to my previous classes so I was going to walk around the corner to where I though it was clear. When I got round the corner I was met by these four and James asked me out again and I turned him down and Sirius started laughing and causing a commotion as usual so while that was happening I managed to sneak away from them and took out my time turner but they were running after me, ended up crashing into me and now we are 20 bloody years into thefuture!" she screeched and I kinda had to cover my ears at the end to stop them from bursting.

"Well not that I'm not happy to see me parents how are you going to get back Harry asked speaking for the first time since earlier in the common room.

"Dumbledore said he would send us at the end of the year so seeing as I have this amount of time to spend first I will kill Peter Pettigrew then I will get to know my deseased best friends only son. Wow I never thought I'd say that sentence!" said Sirius and the rest of laughed but Peter who squeaked and hid as if his life depended on it.

"Well see as you will be staying that long I think that it was time that we caught you up on our insane lives!" said Ron and we all looked at him in confusion but waited for him to continue.

***LillyPOV***

We all sat quietly while the three forth years caught us up on everything that has happened so far. Herry told us about living with the dursleys and living under the stairs at which james clenched his fist at. He told us about first year and the stone as well as the chamber of secrets in second year. Ron and Hermione went into more detail about their first year and Remus paled when they told him about him going wolf and nearly turning them all and saving buckbeak th Hippogriff.

"There is just one more thing about this year we need to tell you...." said Hermione trailing off at the end a bit.

"What?" Remus asked warily. He must know what's coming too.

"Hogwarts is hosting the Triwizards Tournament and the Yule Ball is in December but back to the Tournament. I think we all know something is going to go wrong like it does every year and that is not going to be exactly sunshine and Fluffy bunnies like it is every other damn year!" Ron cursed and me and Hermione both hit him up the head for that one.

"Well if The Yule Ball is this year better snag up your date eh Remus?" Sirius wiggles his eyebrows suggestively as Remus blushes and turns to Hermione and asks to talk to her. They like eachother and we know it.

"Well if that is true I certainly wouldn't want to miss my chance either. Lilly will you go with me to the Yue ball?" James asks with pleading eyes and Harry is Behind him giving me the same look.

"Fine I will go with you James but any funny business, any at all and I will asure you I will not say yes ever again!" I said with a 'dare to cross me' kinda look and his eyes light up like a little kid at Christmas. Hermione and Remus arn't back yet and I have a feeling I know what they're up to.

***RemusPOV***

I ask Hermione to come and Talk to me for a minute and she blushes but stands up none the less. We walk into another room the room of requirement has made for us and I suck in a deep breath.

"Hermione will you go to the Yule ball with me?" I ask her nervousness dripping froom my tone.

"Yes sure" she says and she smiles the biggest smile I have ever seen in my life. We look into eachothers eyes for a second and then we both start to lean forward and end up kissing. 

Her arms fly around my neck and mine immediately go to her waist. We sat there snogging for a long time before we breaking apart.

"SHE SAID YES!!!!!" I heard someone scream and we both know it's James. We sit there for a minute shellshocked before bursting into a fit of laughter and it takes all we have in us just to get up and walk to the door.

When we walk out thay are all sitting smirking at us except James who is staring at Lilly like she is the light of his world. And Lilly can try to hide it al she wants but we all know she is a bit excited.

"So ready to go back and Face the rest of fourth year?" Ron asks and we all look a each other and start to walk to the door.

"Wait!" Sirius says and runs back insided and brings the vermin that is slung over his shoulder. We all laugh as Peter tryies to get away and we all make our way back to the common room

This year is going to fly by!
