Daniel's P.O.V.
9:19, The left pathway, Terrifying situation.
I looked at Ivy and back at the path. I guess there's no turning back now. We were already in too deep. Even the things that aren't even the slightest bit scary in normal situations now give me the heeby jeebies. The path seemed to go on forever, with tacky-but still creepy-Halloween decorations. We didn't say anything to each other the entire time. What would we say? It's not like we could talk normally when we're down here, unless you want to talk about Zac dying or if we were going to die. Sometimes there would be tiny puddles of water along the path to scare us. We gotta think of a name for this dude so I don't have to keep calling him pronouns. The path was long, so I'm sure I could think of something to call him as we walked. Ivy just had a blank expression on her face, as tears silently fell from her eyes. She didn't bother to wipe them away immediately. As we neared the end of the path, on the wall was...something different from what we have already seen. There was a gun, shooting at a heart, making it break in two in... spray paint, I think. That's when I thought of it. "Trickster." I said silently. "Hm?" Ivy asked as she looked up at me. "Trickster. That's what we'll call him." I replied. "That's... kinda cringey." "I know, but it's better than using useless pronouns." "Fair enough." As our short conversation ended, so did the path. We came upon a room with two chairs with something behind one of them, I can't tell what it is though, and a table between them. Then, before we could even react, we were knocked out from behind.
--------------------
I snapped out of my unconsciousness to see that I was sitting in a chair with a table in front of me and Ivy in the chair on the other end, still unconscious. I looked down to see that my hands were cuffed to the chair arms, and my ankles cuffed to the chair legs. Ivy had the same thing. I looked around the barren room and saw speakers placed in the corner of the room. I'm guessing once Ivy wakes up, Trickster will probably do his thing and most likely kill us. On the table, in the center, was...a gun. Ivy woke up and, just as I expected, Trickster was ready to perform for us. Ivy sat up in shock at the sound of his voice, then put her head down and started crying. Tears formed in my eyes. We're not going to make it. Goodbye Brooklyn. Goodbye Piper, Goodbye World, and the most painful goodbye, Goodbye Ivy. I love you. "Would you look what we have here? Two 'innocent' teenagers. You are nothing but filth. But, as it is my favorite holiday, I'll play a game with you. And it all depends on you, Daniel." He knows my name. How the hell does he know my name?! He kept going. I don't like where he was headed. "Behind your chair, Daniel, is a little contraption I made just for the two of you. Here's how this is going to go down. The contraption acts as a hand. As soon as I say, it will grab the gun on the table and pull it back to behind Daniel's chair. All Daniel has to do is say "Save" if he wants to save Ivy or "Kill" if he wants to kill her. If you say save, however, the hand will put the gun to your temple and shoot you instead. The remaining person will move on to the next game, with the other being shot in the head. See, simple! Oh, and before I forget, if you don't choose in the next thirty seconds, you'll both die! Exhilarating, isn't it! Timer starts now." I thought about it for one second before deciding. "Ivy, meet up with Piper and Brooklyn, they'll take care of you. Make sure Trickster gets what he deserves for me, okay? Save." And with that, my last look at the Earth was Ivy's crying face, repeatedly saying "Please no." And my last feeling being a rusty chair, cuffs, a cold gun against my temple, and the excruciating pain from the bullet entering my head. Good luck everyone. For Zac.
