You build it up,
You build it strong.
They tear it up,
They prove you wrong.
You fix it up, they tear it down.
You try to smile,
But can only frown.
You kick them out, from your life
But when they come knocking, you let them in.
They'll never stop stabbing you in the back,
And honesty is what they completely lack.
You will never be good enough.
To them you're no diamond in the rough.
When they need something, you're all they see,
And when they don't, they let you be.
You try so hard to fit in,
But in the end, you'll never win.
Now it stops, this is where it ends.
Time to get rid of the plastic friends.
No more hurting, no more pain.
Wash your worries in the soft, light rain.
