Chapter 23

Macy's P.O.V

I honestly have to say i miss having Ross around. His warm hugs and soft kisses. It's hard breaking up. But it was'nt my choice. It's been a week since Ross came to see me and i had gained my trust for him again, but i was too afraid to tell him that of course. I knew he would get jealous if i dated another person. It would be a bad idea. 

My phone went off and i turned in bed to get it.

I cupped my hand over my mouth to keep from screaming. Was it Riley? It couldn't be she was a sweetheart. Well, besides that text she sent me when i was in the hospital.

Who could it be? My phone kept vibrating and freaking out.

I gasped and shot up out of bed. I stopped for a second and caught my breath. I looked in the mirror and a piece of the corner cracked off. I backed away, am i really that ugly?

I giggled to myself, then looked at the mirror and two more pieces came falling off to the ground. I screamed. I had to let it out. Joey came running in my room. 

"Whats wrong?" He asked out of breath. I looked up with tear stained eyes. Then, i looked at the mirror. 

Joey's face went from furrowed eyebrows to a shocked face. He ran over to the mirror and shoved me out of the way making me fall to the ground. He moved the stand up mirror away and kicked the shards out of the way.

I whimpered into my hands. Joey quickly pulled my hands away from my face, and looked me straight in the eye.

"What. Happened?" He said sternly.

I handed him my phone while my hands shook.

He slowly looked up from the phone to my face. He stormed out the room dropping my phone. I got up deciding it was time to get ready for the day and shake it off.

Stevie's P.O.V

I just got up for the day and had my morning walk now i was taking a rest leaning on the counter drinking my water bottle. It was such a sunny morning and it felt like nothing could be bad in the world. But, the more i think about not everyone is always happy.

The doorbell rang and i hopped over to the door. Riker showed up on the doorstep.

"Hey!!" I said hugging him.

 "Whoa! Hey!" He said as i jumped onto him. We walked over the corner of the counter and took a sip of my water. We started smiling at each other and leaning in, Then, we heard a scream and shot away from each other.

"What was that?" I asked Riker. I started looking around my house and in my yard. What could that be? 

"I'm not sure, but do you want to ask Macy if she wants to hang out?" Riker asked me pushing a piece of hair away from my face.

"Sure let me just call her." I walked away and dialed her number. 

Ring Ring!

Ring Ring!

"Hello?" Macy said into the phone.

"Hi Macy!" I said sounding happy or trying to sounding she didn't sound very happy.

"Oh hey Stevie..." She mumbled.

"Do you want to come over my house and hang out with me and Riker?" I asked softly.

"Uh,....i-...I....sure" Something was going on with her she's not normally like this. 

"Ok! So be over in a bit alright?" I asked in the happiest voice i could find.

"OK." Then she hung up. What? I don't even know whats wrong she never EVER sounds like this. 

I have to figure something out.

Macy's P.O.V.

I just got off the phone with Stevie, and i just didn't feel like doing anything after what happened this morning. 

The doorbell rang and so i ran to the door, when i opened it Ross was standing there.

"Uh, um Ross what are you doing here?" I said choking over my words.

"I wanted to see if you wanted to hang out today?" He said squinting his eyes from the sun. 

"Uh, well i was going to go over Stevie's house to hang out but i can tell her something came up." I didn't want to tell Stevie that i was hanging out with Ross or she will get a bad idea. I don't want paparazzi seeing us either they would think were together again; which would just be a huge mess that i don't want to fix.

"That works." He smirked and i let him in and he sat on the couch. I walked over to him and sat next to him awkwardly. I didn't know what to say so i cuddled up next to him and put my head in the crook of his neck and closed my eyes. I knew Ross was smiling because i can feel when he smiles.

Do i still have feelings for Ross?
