Chapter 2: I don't care if she died or not

---------------

Me and my friends except Jace were back in the institute. He ran after the ginger girl and it hurted me that he chose someone else over us. "I'm going to take a walk." I said an walked towards my room.

I opened my closet and pulled some casual clothes out of it. A black ripped jeans with a white shirt and en jeans jacket with leather sleeves. While I was walking towards the bathroom I thought about the girl. Was she that pretty? No she wasn't. She was not even brave, she freaked out after the attack. What did the girl have but I don't? I got dressed in my new clothes and put my shoes on.

I wandered through a park in the middle of the city called New York. It had a big lake with very clear water which made it see through. Over the lake there was a wooden bridge with iron fences. Around the lake there were beautiful flowers in very different colors. Because it was dark the park was lighted up by big lanterns. This gave it a mysterious look but still in a romantic and relaxing way.

*a few hours later*

I walked through the frontdoor into the institute. Not looking out were I walk, I had a lucky day. Not. I ran into someone and fell on the ground. "Watch we're you're going, idiot." When I looked up I saw that I ran into a new guy, his name is Dylan. He's handsome but I would never admit that I think that. "I'm so sorry. Are you okay?" He says with his lovely British accent. "I-I'm fine. Don't worry ." I laugh off the accident that had happened 3 seconds ago. He hold out his hand and I took it. "Thanks." I smile at him.

Dylan was a tall and muscular young man. He has chocolate brown hair and shining brown eyes. He had a perfect smile which showed us his perfect white teeth. The boy wore a black shirt that fit perfectly around his body and showed his muscles, a black sweatpants because he just came from the training and some black shoes. But above all he had a very nice character so I would definitely talk to him again and I guess he's 19 years old.

"There are you! I was so worried." Jace ran towards me and pulled me in a hug. His scent filled my nose and it comforted me like always. Jace pulled away and looked me deep in the eyes. An uncomfortable moment followed when the blonde boy looked at Dylan. "Who are you?" He looked jealous for a moment but I shook it off, he would never be jealous of a guy I'm talking to, were just friends. We always were and we will forever be friends and protect each other no matter what. "Hi, I'm Dylan. I just moved here. I come from the London institute." He smiled awkwardly. "We ran into each other because we were not looking out. Nothing happened." Jace laid his arm on my shoulder and led me away after I said Dylan goodbye.

"I have to say something." Jace looked me guilty in the eyes, which made me turn sharply towards him. "What did you do?" The words come out in a bitchy way. "I brought the girl from the pantenomium in the institute." "You did what?!" I shout at him. Who does he think he is? He can't bring a mundane here, it's too dangerous. "Shut up and listen to my explanation. She isn't a mundane she's a shadowhunter just like us and she was in danger. A demon was hidden in her house and if I wasn't there she would be dead by now." I looked at him with a broken look. "You know I don't care if she died or not. She doesn't belong here and she never will. If you don't bring her back I will make her life a living hell here in the institute, understand?" I hissed harshly before I stormed away from the blonde boy.

So this is the second chapter I hope you liked it. Because I worked hard on it and rewrote it like 6 times? I'm sorry for letting you wait this long for a short chapter but I promise I will try so hard to post another chapter soon. I have exams in 2 weeks so maybe I can't but I will try.

Another thing thank you SO much for the 100 reads I've never thought that I would have that because my writing isn't good enough but thank you so much for supporting me and reading my book. I lover you all and I hope to hear from you.
