The next day, Pearl met up with Sarah at the roller rink. Unbeknownst to both, they had both dressed up for the occasion without the other knowing.
"Nice jacket, Pearl."
Pearl laughed, genuinely happy for once, "You look nice as well. What's the occasion?"
"Well I mean, it's my birthday but.."
"Wait, it's your birthday? That's special isn't it," Pearl injected, slightly flustered, "so why didn't you say anything?"
Sarah patted shorter woman on her head, and smiled, "I didn't want to stress you out anymore than you already have been recently. Come on, let's go skate."
Sarah grabbed Pearl's hand and skated in a circle, and Pearl giggled. Sarah was starstruck
"Why so stiff?" Pearl asked Sarah as they were twirling around on the skating rink.
"I never heard you laugh before, it's cute, even for you" Sarah laughed as she lifted up Pearl and kissed her on her gem. Then Pearl went for her first kiss from Sarah, they both collapsed on the skating rink. The music stopped, and their hearts were racing then the music changed to a slow dance song.
They stood up and started to skate slowly, people cheering from the sides for them and the other couples. Then the spot light was glaring off of the two, then Pearl and Sarah went for a kiss. The crowd goes wild, then Sarah takes Pearl home after the Rink closes. "Have a nice night," Pearl said as Sarah was walking off the Temple's deck.
