I stared out the window fearfully, it was Peyton, her eyes almost looked evil. Who did that this to her??? A tear ran down my face as she flew into the mountains and everything resumed, as if nothing had even happened.
I ran out of the coffee shop and sprinted all the way back to my house, leaving Keith in the dust. I paced around my room angrily, stomping my feet on the carpet, my teeth chattering in my mouth.
"I swear... Whoever did this to Peyton will pay. you can't just take over a dragon like that... especially someone's best friend! .. I still don't entirely understand what happened... one moment she was completely normal.. the next... just not herself."
Suddenly an unsettling feeling came to me, I looked around, my teary eyes filled with anger. A man with a leather jacket over a black shirt stepped into view. His eyes burned with pure evil.
I knew instantly that he must be the one who did that to Peyton. I ran up to him and tried to punch him but an invisible force of some sort blocked me. I was sent back several feet and knocked onto my back, he hadn't even touched me.
"Dragon tamer," he said, his voice pure evil. "Your dragon is under my complete control... you see you don't know this but there's something very special about your Peyton."
I panicked and glared up at him. "Just give her back to me."
