Challenge of the Samurai

About a week after the run in with team rocket and Caterpie and Weedles' evolutions, Abby, Ash and Misty along with Pikachu and Clefairy were wandering through the Viridian forest in search of the way out. Ash was a few feet ahead looking for new Pokemon to catch, with Misty and Abby traveling from behind. Abby would have been ahead with her brother, but she had something else occupying her attention.

Misty looked to her left to see the other girl in the group looking through her blue backpack. one could hear her muttering, "I know I saw it in here somewhere," under her breath as they walked.

"What are you doing?" Misty asked confused.

"I'm looking for the chocolate bars that my Mom packed in my bag," Abby answered simply.

"Why would you be looking for that?"

"Because I'm hungry," Abby said as if it were the most obvious thing in the world.

"But we ate only an hour ago, how could you possibly be hungry now?" It had been seven days since they entered the forest and Misty still couldn't believe how much the dark haired trainers could eat.

"I just am,okay?" Abby was starting to get a little bugged by Misty's questioning. "Aha!" Her mood switched as she finally found what she was searching for. Pulling out a blue wrapped rectangle, Abby's smile spread ear to ear. Chocolate was her all time favorite thing to eat ever since she was little. She could probably eat nothing but for her whole life without ever getting sick of its sweet and rich flavor.

Tug, tug. "Fairy."

"Huh!" Surprised, Abby snapped out of it and looked down to see Clefairy pulling on the leg of her jeans. "What is it Clefairy?"

"Clefairy." Clefairy simply pointed at the unopened Chocolate bar in her trainers hand. Then she got it.

"Oh, You wanna try some?" Abby asked and saw Clefairy nod in confirmation. Tearing the wrapper wide open, she broke off a piece of the candy and handed it to Clefairy before taking a bite of the chocolate herself. Judging by the smile on her partner's face, Abby could only guess that Clefairy liked it a lot.

Only a second later did everyone hear a scream and turned to see Misty with her arms and legs wrapped around a tree branch, holding on for dear life. 'How did she get up there so fast?' Abby wondered in thought, having not even noticed the other girl had moved away from her until then.

"What's wrong now?" Ash asked staring at the frightened red head.

"I think I see another bug! Gross!" Misty shrieked as she pointed to where she thought she had seen said bug. Of course... But nobody seemed too surprised, it would take a lot more than one Pokemon battle win for the bug types of their group to make Misty change her view about bugs.

"Maybe it's a COW-terpie," Ash joked, popping up in a cow costume. His horrible pun was enough to make Abby, Clefairy, and Pikachu all face fault while Misty's branch mysteriously broke causing her to hit the ground at the exact same time. Ash just laughed at his own bad joke, now in his normal clothes as everyone got up.

"That's not funny," Misty yelled at the boy Ketchum. "You know I hate bugs and I saw one right over there!" she point gain and as they all followed her hand, they saw that there was indeed a bug. It was none other than...

"A Weedle," Ash exclaimed in excitement, while Misty hid behind him. Not that Ash cared too much as all he could think of was the chance to catch a Weedle of his very own for his next Pokemon. That being said, he pulled out Dexter for more information on the little bug type.
