"The new song from Anm48, "Everyday Animal Ears" has topped the carts!"

You listened to the female news reporter narrate over the footage of the popular J-Pop band of animal like creatures. The eggs sizzled in the pan as you just turned off the the stove and plopped the eggs on two separate plates for yourself and Mino.

You brought the food over to the table and still listened the television.

"The popular idol group has done it again! Ever since their debut, they've released nothing but top hits!"

The reporters enthusiasm made you sigh as you sat down at the kitchen table observing the tv. The reporter just talked about of how the pop group captured the hearts of many and how there the world's firsts species to form a band. You nibbled on your toast as you noticed the news take a different turn making you glued to the story.

"When the "Cultural Exchange Between Species Bill" got accepted, the government used to hide these humanoid species from the world. However, it was decided that we could benefit from peaceful co-existence, and thus this bill was born.

You twirled your fork between for fingers as you dozed off into a daydream while the reporter kept commenting on her thought about the whole ordeal.

"Amazingly enough, the world hasn't changed much form it."

You grunted at her final words and shut the tv off.

"Yeah right.."

You said, while thinking about all those times Mino clung to you like a lost puppy. Constantly squeezing you in his tail and damaging some of your belongs do to his tail constantly knocking things over.

"And to think I used to live a normal life just a few days ago..."

You sobbed to yourself while lowering your tired and hazing head.

"Indeed!"

You threw your head up and turned your head over and let out a horrific screech from the surprise visitor.

Mr. Smith.

He smirked at your reaction. He sat in a pitch black suit and tie, legs crossed while sipping on a cup of the instant coffee you made for Mino. He pulled down his black sunglasses, revealing his dark hazy eyes at your figure.

"Good morning, Ms.(L/N). You haven't forgotten about me, right?"

You opened up your rice maker and began scooping up large portions of steamy white rice and dumping it into a glass bowl.

"If your here, you might as well eat breakfast with us."

You said, handing him the bowl, which he gladly expected from you.

"What are you doing here anyway?"

You asked. He only chuckled and sipped his caffeine drink.

"As your Cultural Coordinator, it's my job to make sure your not engaging in any prohibited matters."

His eyes darkened a bit as he finished up his coffee.

"As I was saying; if something were to happen to them, serve punishments would have to be carried out."

He finished up his sentence with a grunt and low mellow exhale through his teeth.
