Day with a Naga

After that awkward as all heck breakfast, you decided to take Mino for a little day out, for one of two reasons. First being that he always bickered on how he wanted to see more of Japan and two being is that the constant grabbing and squeezing was enough for you to call out a break.

So here you and Mino where walking down the streets of the joyous Japanese city. Mino lead the way while you followed behind him, from avoiding tripping over his huge tail.

"It's a date~A date~ I'm on a date with my darling~!"

The red head sung a repetitive beat to himself as he was slithering ever so uptight down the sidewalks. You hid your red face from the constant stares people were given off from you.

"A DATE!"

Completely out of nowhere, Mino screamed at the top of his lungs while also raising his pale arms up high. You screamed and waved your hands around.

"Ehhhh, cut that out already! It's embarrassing! And it's not a date!"

You permed around and saw everyone around the area eyeing you.

Oh my goodness..

"We're here to get you used to human society, you know...."

You brought your hands down to signal him to calm down, he only smiled.

"Well than I guess it's a society date then!"

"Oh ok..."

You sulked..only to have Mino pull your arm down the sidewalk.

"Hurry up darling! You remember what Mr. Smith told you, right?"

"Oh yeah.."

Thinking back at that time when Mr. Smith sat you down in your home to lecture you about what a host family must do with a non-human.

"Okay then, one last thing: Integration into human society."

With his sunglasses still on his face he read off a tiny black book.

"The host families can't just leave their guests alone. To get Mino used to human society, you'll need to everyday things together and be there to support him. To put it simply, you just need to spend time with him."

He closed the book and smiled.

"Uh...isn't that supposed to be the coordinator's job?"

You asked.

He only turned away and sipped his drink.

"Sorry, but I'm busy..."

You frowned. Mr. Smith planted his hand in your shoulder and gave a menacing scowl to you.

"Oh, and don't you dare take him to a sleazy hotel or anything, got it?"

You convulsed from the sudden scare.

"Your literally making do all the work here..."

Mino tugged at your arm, so you followed. All throughout the day Mino has been dragging you to literally every hot spot for entertainment around the city.

A cafe, an arcade and even a pet shop, which meant you started to grow tried.

"Ah, this is so much fun!"

Mino sung happily to himself while you and him were trotting down the street. You looked down at your shoes and yawned, your legs were so sore.

"I thought it can be a little hard with everything designed for humans.....I really wanted to try karaoke."
