Luxurious books ( Kaneki x reader)

Glass cage

Kaneki kept on his mask as well as his cold voice. He kept ordering me around and holding me close. He acted like a different person since I moved in with him in this weird abandoned factory.

He often ordered me to forbid leaving and kept me locked in the cella with a specially cooked bowl of warm noodles.

Before he gave it to me he would always say the same words 'Be happy...'
Day in day out bowls of the same salty noodles...The only treasure was the books he gave me through a small flap in the door.

The books were like food. I'd binge on them more then my food. " you're more ghoul then ghouls themselves.." he'd say as he'd sometimes watch me read. I'd laugh and then he'd tell me to shut up.

Other days he'd wear causal clothes and speak in a soft monotone voice and ask questions on what inspired me to write.  He'd sometimes even speak like a little child and laugh at my books.

" Hey A/n I like how you made the villain good in some places he's very two faced!!"

" Yeah it's up to the reader to decide what side they think makes him him"

" Yeah I like that!!" Kaneki laughs though it seemed like a cry.

" Hey Kaneki?"

"Hmmm?"He looks up from his book

" what are you hiding from me outside there?"

The smiles stop altogether.

He squeezes the book in his hand. " Just read okay?"

I throw down the book. " What is it that I'm not allowed to see?"

I run past him where I see a crack of light peaking through a heavy door.

I feel a weight pulls me down. " you deaf?" I hear as I am slammed to the ground. I bite into my lip on impact of the fall. It starts pulsing.

He pins me to the ground. " you see what happens when you don't listen?" His voice went cold again.  Before I could speak again he forcefully kissed my bleeding lips. I cringe in pain as his tongue strokes the wound.

He deepens the kiss by using his tongue to collect any leftover blood. Then he pulls away with a frown.

" You're delicious...if you leave again then I'll eat you up!" He carries me back to our book corner and holds me tight as we read books.

" Just stay here with me okay?"

I don't answer.
