HALLO MAH DIBBLETS! (That's what I'm calling you guys for now)  I'm splitting it into sections, because there is WAY too much to put in one chapter

Fading....That would be the best way to describe the tiny, disoriented girl stumbling along who-knows-where. Her shaky hands gripped the soaking red fabric of her hoodie in an attempt to keep herself warm, although at this point it was so wet that all she was actually doing was squeezing drops of frigid water out of it. Her pale eyes were already half closed and glazed over, as if she wasn't really seeing out of them. Actually... that wasn't too far off from the truth. She groaned and rubbed her eyes to try and clear out the haze and see where she was.

Augustus was lost, wandering along the deserted forest trail. Well, the young boy thought that it was deserted. He heard a quiet groan and looked around, pale blue eyes going wide in terror. Then, he spotted a minuscule person only a few feet away from him. She was stumbling as she walked, almost like a zombie. Slowly, he kneeled down, feeling a twinge of pity. "Hello?" He whispered, hoping he wouldn't scare her. "Do you need some help?"

She could faintly make out the sound of a voice, although she wasn't sure who it came from or what it was saying. Jolting up, she made a grab for whatever was in her pack and pulled it out. "Whatwho'stheredon'ttouchme!?"she tried to yell, but it mostly came out as a slurred whisper. She brandished the object she'd grabbed, which she only now found out was a...cutting board. It was still covered in bits of dough and a strange, inky substance. Not very threatening, but whatever. The girl squinted at what seemed to be the outline of a person. And a very LARGE person at that. 'I really am going crazy, huh? About time.' she thought as she struggled to not pass out from exhaustion.

Augustus stared at the minuscule cutting board in the tiny girl's hands. "Uhm..." He didn't exactly know how to respond to this. "I won't hurt you, promise. Where did you come from?"

"I came frommmmm..." She lowered the board and turned around in a full circle. "...actually, I dunno where I'm from. I'm kinda a lot lost." Then she turned back and pointed the board at him again, not as 'threateningly' as before. "But the real question is, where are YOUUuuUuU from, thou mysterious stranger?" {*insert dun dun DUUUN music here*}

Augustus giggled. "I'm from here," He replied with an amused grin. "I'm kinda lost, too." The young boy admitted with a shrug, looking around the vast expanse of trees and undergrowth. "Hmm..." He trailed off.

Marble's eyes scanned the area around her, all of it an unfamiliar blur of greens. "I've never been here before... I don't think so, anyways. I can't actually see it." The girl pushed a lock of dripping hair out of her face with an equally soaked sleeve and grinned up at him. "Guess we're in the same boat, huh? The lost thing, not the almost blind part." It was a curious thing that she was so wet even though it wasn't raining. It looked like she'd decided to for a dip fully clothed.

"What happened to you?" Augustus asked, motioning towards her soaked clothing. Had it been raining earlier? He stared down at the tiny girl, looking confused yet intrigued. She was interesting.

Marble looked down at her own clothing, then at the sky, confused. "You mean it's not raining?..it was just..."The small girl trailed of, feeling something strange, like there another pair of eyes on her. She glanced in the direction she felt it coming from. Suddenly, shock of pain hit her and she gasped as she started feeling unsteady.

Augustus yelped and looked around worriedly. There was no one in sight. "Are you okay?!" He hurriedly questioned, reaching down and catching the tiny girl before she stumbled and hit the ground.

The sensation of a needless stabbing into her heart kept her quiet, but she did manage to shake her head. Although she knew no one was there, she could've sworn something behind her was closing their hands around her neck. "W-we can't stay here..." she managed to choke out, her vision fading by the second.
