The morning after we got to the beach house, Cassie and I wanted to hit the beach. It wasn't far, so it was decided the night before that we were going to walk there. Since that was decided, we could get a couple more hours of sleep. And trust me, Cassie without sleep is not a sight that I would wish upon anyone.

As we woke up and started getting ready, I noticed that both of us seemed happier than at home. It wasn't that we hated our parents, or that we had anything to complain about, we just left the stress and reality of life behind us for the time being. We both knew that this trip wouldn't last forever, and we knew that would be harder and harder to accept as the summer went by.

By the time both of us were semi-ready, it was about 11:00. Cassie had taken forever to find her waterproof mascara, so that was one of the reasons we were running so behind schedule. If there was one thing I hated, it was being behind schedule.

"Ash, now who's taking forever?" Cassie questioned as I fishtailed my hair to the side.

"Sorry, but you're a bathroom hog, so it's the first time I've had the chance to use it. You've been in here so long that I almost forgot what our bathroom looked like," I joked on her.

As we went into our bedrooms, we both called out simultaneously, "Hey, which suit should I wear?"

This caused both of us to start cackling like hyenas, and it took a couple of seconds for us to recover. It was finally decided that I would wear yellow bottoms and a pink and yellow floral print bandeau top. Cassie chose a teal bandeau top wit a lacy overlay that draped down a little, and Aztec print bottoms that matched perfectly. It was ironic, because the suit we chose was one anothers respectively.

When we finally left the house, it was 11:30, and it took 10 minutes to walk to the beach. We got there, and looked around for a perfect spot. We finally found it when we saw an empty spot away from a large group of girls that were crowded around something.

"I wonder what they're looking at," Cassie remarked casually as we laid our towels down.

"Curiosity killed the cat, and if you're not careful, it will get the Cassie too," I replied as I put tanning oil on. I grabbed my sunglasses and laid face down. I saw Cass do the same thing, still laughing at the joke I just made.

Just as the alarm for us to flip went off, we were bombarded with a flying object. I screeched in surprise, and quickly became angry. Cassie was about to pee herself because she thought it was so funny. This was weird, since usually I was the one laughing and Cass got angry.

When I looked over at her, I noticed she had her phone out. I realized that she was vining me, and I started laughing. See, Cass and I had a shared vine account called Cash Money. We had started about 6 months ago, and it kind of took off. We weren't even as close to famous as some people, but we had a good amount of followers.

Right as I took out my phone, the boys who threw the object, which turned out to be a football, came to retrieve it. There were a group of six, but only two came to get it. All of them were really good looking from afar.
