I woke up with a pounding headache and sore back. "Shit" I mumbled as I looked around for some Advil. "I really shouldn't have gone clubbing with Graham last night" I thought to myself. I fumbled around in the cupboard and suddenly felt a cold hand on my back. I screeched and turned, slapping the culprit, annoyed, to find a laughing Graham.

"Babe calm down, it's just me" he said in between laughs.

"Well I didn't know you stayed last night! God you could have been some crazy killer that got into my house for all I know." I say holding back a smile. Graham was my boyfriend of one year. He is absolutely perfect. And its a plus that we are in the same band together. That's actually how we met, I put up a bunch of fliers looking for a guitar, bass and drum player and he and two of his friends called me for an audition. I was beyond surprised when they all showed up. Turns out they were looking for a lead singer and happened to see my flier.

" So babe, what do you want to do today?" Graham asked me.

" Well I was thinking, maybe we could go to that new restaurant in town? You know, the new Italian one?" I asked sweetly. Graham fidgeted in his seat. that's strange.

" You alright ?" I asked.

"Yeah, its just that I heard some of the waitresses there are really bad. Just that there isn't good service". Something passed in his eyes but left as soon as it came.
" Okay?" I questioned.
"I still want to go." I pushed. He sighed before agreeing. We decided to get ready and that he would go home to get changed and pick me up in 2 hours. Graham left out the door and started his car before speeding out.

"Well that's strange, he never leaves without saying I love you" I thought to myself. I brushed it off and decided it was time for me to take a bath. My head is still pounding from my hangover and the Advil has not taken any effect. I turned on the bath to a heat where it was only mildly burning so that it would turn my skin a soft pink. When it was almost full I put two cups of bubbles into it and plugged my phone into my speaker on the counter. I stripped down into my bare skin and got into the warm welcoming bath. As soon as my body was covered in water, and I was completely relaxed, my phone started buzzing.

"You've got to me fricking kidding me." I mumbled to myself as I pulled myself out of the bath to get my phone. When I reached the speaker to answer my phone, I realized that it wasn't my phone that was ringing. I mumbled a string of cuss words as I wrapped a towel around my body. On my "adventure" to find the mystery cell phone, I tore up the whole living room. "Gotcha you little devil" I said when I pulled out Grahams phone from the tattered couch cushion. Since I already sent most of my stuff to my new apartment in London, all of the furniture in my apartment right now is handme downs. I have a blow up mattress in the bedroom, an old couch in the living room, a cooler full of food and drink in the kitchen and a microwave, toaster and coffee pot in the kitchen. I was moving in two weeks so it wasn't like I needed much. When I looked at the caller I.D it said Miranda.

" Who the hell is Miranda?" I thought to myself. I put her to voicemail and texted her.

Graham (me) : what do you need?

I sent the text and waited anxiously for her to reply. About 5 minutes of picking at my nails and worrying about the text, Grahams phone vibrated. I opened up the text and had to hold back a cry when I read it.

Miranda: i was just thinkin maybe we could meet up again and finish what we started the other night (; i mean you normally come over once a week to "hang out".

I dropped his phone onto the ground and let a flood of sobs rake through my body. A whole year with that douchebag. I picked up the phone and deleted the messages. I pulled myself up and got ready for the date with Graham. Hes going to regret ever cheating on me. He wanted to hurt me? Well two can play at that game.
