Deidara in Fairy Tail (FT and Naruto crossover)

Chapter 6

Deidara stretched as he finished his A rank job. He lets out a small sigh and pursed his lips. Deidara has been staying in Fiore for a while and he hasn't found any clues who he is going after. The blonde is genuinely confused about the whole 'looking for the villain that is causing all this chaos' thing, sure, he used to be a villain himself. He wasn't used to being the main character in the story and that made the blonde male feel anxious.

What if I mess up and end up being bad again?

What if I miss all those opportunities that have good or neutral endings?

What if I couldn't protect the ones that have I grown closer with in this world?

Deidara started to have doubts and he is absolutely terrified. In his villain days, he only received orders, kill, do illegal activites that his boss told him to do. He was just a mere puppet that is controlled by the mastermind, he became used to that kind of route. Being bossed around, and he followed. Now he is experiencing a new path that he never went to, and it terrified him. Deidara wiped his tears then his eyes widened when he felt droplets of water pouring on him. 

At least I can cry in the rain, then no need for me to worry.

Deidara sniffed and rub his nose, his hair started to soak up the rain. He stood at an alleyway, waiting for the rain to stop. His bangs hiding his eyes and cursed under his breath as he wiped his tears with a red handkerchief. "Ah..fuck...I shouldn't be a baby." Deidara mumbled, he looked up to see a figure standing in front of him, stretching his hand out while holding an umbrella. He quickly recognized who it is.

"Ah...Yukino." Deidara said and a smile made it's way to his lips. He gave her an awkward greeting and bows slightly, it was a little embarassing for Deidara since he was never around other women other than Konan and his mother. He felt awkward, even if he helped Yukino one time. He just wanted to help her get back to where she came from. "You don't have an umbrella, Deidara-sama?" Yukino asks, tilting her head to the side in confusion, her eyes have a glint of concern. 

A blush crept on his cheeks, he shakes his head sheepishly and looks away from the younger. "I...sorry for giving all of you this trouble. I don't wanna be burden. I can get home after the rain stops." Deidara stuttered, Yukino lets out a small laugh at the older male. "Deidara-sama, I was actually looking for you. I really wanted to, at least, have a friend from a different guild. But...why Fairy Tail?" Yukino asks as she pointed at the guild mark that is located at his palm. 

Deidara looks at Yukino and smiles again. "I...really wanted to give up my old life and start a new one by coming here. I love the ambiance here compared to my old place, but that place is top secret." Deidara said, and place a finger over his mouth, a sign that he will keep his mouth shut if he has a secret. 

Yukino nods, understanding that people have secrets even she has secrets herself. The girl felt connected with Deidara, his melancholy aura dragged her to him for some reason. She wanted to dig deeper and get to know him more, if she had the chance. "Come on, I will walk home with you." Deidara said.
