Miss Elinor Dashwood was a great writer. But Elinor had a thing for either books or even just letters she had very little accquitances in town she knew that she could not wrote to Edward because he in turn was engaged to be harried to a miss Lucy Steele of 20 years old she had every little time to herself writing because all the time she was in London with her sister she had stand miss Steele's hopes and dreams. She once said that edward could very capable of being attached to another woman. Lucy depended on Elinor so much she looked again her like a parasite because she had little fortune much like her and Anne. You see Elinor edward made his promise to me long before he became accquitanced with you and your family. Almost by this remark Elinor was taken aback by what lucy had said.
On the street where Mrs Jennings lived it was heaving with well dressed people Anne lucy's younger sister was forever talking of beaux Mariannne had heard enough miss Steele my sister is not one for gossiping about other people so Pray tell me what has to do with you what Elinor and Edward talked about when he was at Norland with us. Me Elinor and Margaret. Lucy was vexed indeed I have heard quite enough excuse me sir John! Lucy rushes outside vertically in tears well says Mariannne grieved to see Elinor been pushed into a corner where it could not provide a space to clear around. Mama was I right in defending Ellie? Miss Steele was certainly most course this evening I have never seen look displeased I declare said Mrs Dashwood. That evening Elinor was crying oh Mariannne! I can't do this anymore listen to to her nonsense any longer it makes me not want to go to Barton park everyday evening but it Sir John's wish that we dine up there I'm not going tomorrow evening mama can say I am feeling a little of sorts cries she. Mariannne said Edward isn't it! Yes said she to Mariannne oh how could bare all this pain Ellie?

For the chief that morning Elinor spent it alone writing out in the garden it was lovely. After her own upset with lucy she decides to write about it and put her feelings into a story.  Elinor was uneasy about not writing to Edward but I guess that it meant because he was engaged to her he couldn't reply at all. I think he's like his dad edward carried on. Just then Mariannne turns to Elinor said I hope to hear from you soon being with ...... Child. Mariannne we not married yet! We will think about it once we are married but for present we are happy just the way we are! Elinor said smiling at her sister and new nephew. How is your sister Edward?
