CHAPTER 10

His voice seems to tremble, so I lower my tone.

"What? What is it?" I asked. Is today friday the 13th? Why am I getting bad luck? This can't be happening. What problem now?

"I..uh..I-"

"What is it, Mingyu?" I asked again. I guess something is wrong, I just don't know what is it.

"I don't think..anyone here can see me."

Huh?

"What are looking at, Ms. Yewon? Come over to the computer." He seriously said. He's getting scary.

"See? He's staring right through me and he doesn't even know it." Mingyu stated. I glance back to him. He's perfectly fine, I mean I can see him. Why Mr. Lee Chan can't? Mr. Lee completely ignores Mingyu and leads me to the desk. What's happening to Mingyu? Why doesn't anyone else notice him? 

"Look, this guy doesn't notice a thing." He said, then he went closely to him. Mingyu waves a frantic hand in front of him. What are you doing, Mingyu?!

"He-hello! Hey?!" He continue waving at him. Mingyu must be crazy! What if he accidentally hit him?

"Mingyu! Stop!" I half-shouted. Mingyu leads me to trouble! I must get him out here.

"What was that?" Mr. Lee Chan asked, confuse and irritable was written all over his face. I'm making him more angry. What's happening to Mingyu?

"N-Nothing!" I frantically said. Okay, breath Arin, just keep cool. I can feel my face flush as I lower my voice. I try to focus on Mr. Lee Chan, who takes out a pack of papers and points to the computer screen. Of course, it's hard to pay attention when Mingyu is dancing around the room. He's goofy again.

"Yup. Looks like nooo one can see me. Greaaaaaat." I have to stifle a laugh. It's quite a sight. The last time he dance like this was when he's a child, it's my first time to see him dancing like that. Hahaha this is great, I need to record this.

"Yewon-sshi, are you paying attention?" Uh oh I take a quick breath and nod eagerly. I can't afford to lose credibility in the workplace. But Mingyu is there, dancing with his own world. Hehehe~

"I am Mr. Lee. So what are we doing today?" I asked. He fixed his glasses and sigh.

"Well, if you were listening, you'd know that I wanted to introduce our first project." Oh shoot. I better listen now to him.

"It's a romance story, aimed at young women. Kind of a typical for the genre." A romance? Well, quite typical and cliche, but what am I gonna do? I'm just his assistant producer. I saw Mingyu stopped at dancing and went closer to us.

Mr. Lee Chan slides a stack of paper towards me, pointing at the title on the first page. Wow~ He already made a story?

"Stupid in love...? That's, uh.. sad story?"

"We work with what we get. Now take a look at it while I go and call Wonwoo to pick up some copies." Mr. Lee opens the manuscript to the front page and gets up to leave and dial Wonwoo. As soon as he's gone, I turn back to Mingyu, who is floating around behind me.

"So I'm the only one who can see you?" I asked while scanning through the pages of the script.

"Well, I guess so.. No one else is reacting to me." He said. That's why people in the bus were looking at me. They think, I must be insane talking at myself but the truth is I'm with Mingyu. Mingyu crosses his arms and shuffles his feet.

"Wait. You didn't know already?" 

"This is all pretty new to me." He said. This is insane and unbelievable. Why only me?

"Well, what were you doing earlier? What's the first thing you remember?" I put down the script and stared at his eyes. He's still the Mingyu I know, those imperfectly perfect eyes, his cute smile and- What are you doing Arin! I'm happy that he's back but what just happen? How did this whole thing happen?

He can't just popped out of nowhere! He needs to explain. I know that he remembers, why is he here,
