20. Safe

Hey guys!

It's been a long day and I'm tired and also I ate too much.

Anyways, here's another chapter.

Let's begin.

"You should sleep now." I said as I got up from the bed.

"No, stay." he said like a kid and pulled me towards him. We both fell down on the bed with I on top of him.

He pulled the blankets. I cuddled with him and slept peacefully. I felt so safe in his arms.

The last thing I remembered was when he kissed me on my forehead and then he whispered 'good night sugar'.

Morning

I woke up and realized a strong arm was wrapped around my waist. Scott looked so amazing.

How could you ever get tired of looking at his face?

I gave him a small kiss on his cheeks. He shifted in his sleep and pulled me more closer to him. A few minutes later he opened his eyes slowly.

"Morning" I said and smiled at how adorable he was looking.

"Morning" he mumbled in his sleepy voice.

"Did you sleep well?" He asked.

"Yes" I whispered.

"We've school today." He said.

"I totally forgot" I said and pushed him slightly and got up from the bed.

"I've to go home." I said.

He threw one of his car's keys at me.

"Take my baby. Now that I've taught you how to drive I can trust you." He said and smirked at me.

"Thank you" I said.

"But don't forget to pick your boyfriend." He said and winked at me.

"I really don't remember if I had any boyfriend." I said and pretended that I was in a deep thought.

He pulled me closer and kissed me.

"Now do you remember?" He asked.

I went home and took a shower and then I wore a black ripped jeans and my hoodie. It was a cloudy day. So it was a bit cold today.

"Will you go with me cupcake?" Dan asked.

"No, I brought Scott's car home. I've to pick him from his house." I said.

"Boyfriend over brother?" He said and pouted.

"No, obviously not." I said and laughed at his reaction.

"I will tell you a secret." He said.

"What?" I asked.

"He never lets anyone touch his car." He said.

"He would obviously let me touch his car." I said and smiled sheepishly.

"Why?" He asked.

I still remember that day.

"Long story" I said and drove to Scott's house.

I drove us to school. As soon as we reached, everyone's eyes were on us.
Some looked at us in jealousy, some looked annoyed and some with adoration.

That's highschool for you.

My phone beeped and I saw an Instagram notification. Anne mentioned me in her story.

There was a picture of us and these words were written below-

Can't wait till tomorrow. Happy birthday in advance. Love you so much.

I totally forgot that it was my birthday tomorrow.

That's when I saw Anne running towards me. She instantly pulled me into a hug.

"Are you crying Anne?" I asked her.

She sobbed.

"Oh my God you are crying. What happened?" I asked her.

A tough girl like her did not always cried.

"Are you okay? I was so scared." She said and hugged me tighter.

"It's okay. I'm fine." I said and patted her back.

Scott smiled at us and he left to give us some time alone.

She cried for a while until it was time for our class. We had different classes.

After the class was over I went towards the cafeteria and sat at our usual table. Soon Scott and others joined me. We ate our food and talked about sone stuff. Anne and James were no where to be found.

I went outside to sit in the backside of the campus. Anne came and sat near me.

"Where were you, young lady?" I asked and I narrowed my eyes at her.

"I was making out in the janitor's closet mom." She said and chuckled.

"Oh my God you were getting nasty in there. I want the details." I said teasingly.

"Now that's not what my mom would say." She told and we laughed.

I told her everything about me being Scott's girlfriend. She literally jumped up and down excitedly.

"Scott and Elena under a tree K-I-S-S-I-N-G." She sang.

"Oh no don't embarrass me like that." I said and noticed people staring at us.

"I am very happy for you." She said and pulled me into a hug.

"You're coming home with me today." I said and grinned at him.

"Okay" she said happily.

I asked Dan to drive us home. He refused to drive us home like a kid until I told him about the car incident.
He was beyond shocked to hear what happened and he nagged me all the way to home.

Anne called her mom and told her that she was going to have a sleepover at my house and she agreed.

"I'm hungry." She said.

"Same here." I said as my stomach growled in hunger.

"Let's go to MacDonald's." She said snd pouted at me.

"Okay" I said and chuckled at her.

We went to McDonald's. We went inside and I saw Scott and Dan there. We went towards them.

"Scott you shouldn't have come." I said with concern. He came from hospital yesterday and he was already here eating like it was the last day of Earth.

"I am okay Sugar." he said and pouted at us.

"Sit with us" Dan said. I sat with Anne and Scott sat with Dan.

We ordered our food. While the food arrived we talked over some stuff.

We ate our food and then Scott insisted to pay the bill. After that we went home.
