Chapter 15:

My face turned pale from sheer terror. Germaine's effort was futile as she tried time and again to reach the windows, at the same time knocking a chain against the grills. Now she was in the warehouse alone.

"Good, at least they didn't hear it," Greyson heaved a sigh of relief. 

"Guys! Guys, I cant do this i...I need help!" Came Germaine's terrified cry.

"We need to think fast before they notice. We're in a precarious spot. God, we have to save Germ!" Ella was equally scared.

"C'mon Germaine, you can do it. You can, okay. You gotta trust me. Now I'm going to climb up and give you a hand, is that okay?" Greyson encouraged slowly, trying not to worry her further.

Greyson jumped up, caught a bar and heaved himself up onto the ledge. As he peered down to see Germaine, his foot kicked an empty coke can and sent it tumbling down loudly. I drew a sharp breath and prayed.

Just as Greyson managed to pull Germaine up, i caught sight of the porch light flickering on and a silhouette of a girl could be seen. Oh god this isn't happening!

Greyson jumped down in fright and Germaine began crawling through the small opening. Suddenly, she gave out an ear-piercing cry of pain.

"HELPPPPP!! I'M STUCK!" She screamed.

"SHHHHHHHHHHHHH there's a person!" We chorused in anguish. We took Germaine's hand and started pulling causing her to groan in pain.

"I'm so sorry, we're gonna be discovered! There's no time. This might hurt I'm so sorry Germ!" I said remorsefully as she sniffed.

"HEY YOU PEOPLE OVER THERE! WHY DID YOU TRESSPA- OH MY GOD YOU ESCAPED!??" The girl flew into a rage and started running towards us.

I exchanged glances with Greyson. Germaine is still stuck! Oh no! She'll reach us any minute! 

"C'mon guys, come on come on come on Germaine!" I chanted, tugging harder as the girl neared.
